Media outlets need to put a gun guy on staff

So, I was perusing my wife's copy of Entertainment Weekly last night.  The issue is the 50 years of Bond issue.  They had a promo picture from Live and Let Die of Roger Moore as 007.  The caption said "blah, blah, blah Roger Moore as 007 with his Walther PPK"

Only one problem.  He was holding a revolver.  A S&W Model 10 I believe.  IMFDB seems to corroborate this.

I mean seriously.  How hard would it be for them to do a basic fact check.

About as hard as checking any of their other facts........which they seldom do, no matter the subject.
