The 10MM Magnum Brass is a heavy duty, lengthened 10MM Auto
Just how heavy duty is the brass - wall thickness over the standard 10mm brass I can't find any specs.
My thoughts are if the web and walls are thicker than a cut down version to 10mm length would handle over 37,000 pressure very well in a reinforced Glock and my M-T 16"
Looking for fps with 180gr HCFP of 1900 to 2000 + and 1800 to 1900 with 200gr HCFP these fps's are for my M-T only
I have two designs to up the spring load on the blow back bolt in the M-T to handle the higher pressures - the standard 10mm brass is the weak point in this effort and thusly the 10mm mag brass comes into play.
Any one out there with any specs on the 10mm mag brass ?

You should ask Starline, I'm pretty sure their 10 mm and 10 mm magnum come from the same line and only differ in trimming and headstamp.
If you want really tough 10 mm brass, look for old stock or once fired norma. I thought I broke my press when I first push-through sized a norma case.

There have been people that said they got the 10mm Mag brass and trimmed it and used it in the 10mm guns.  There was a cut case that showed the internals to be the same from Starline...here;

Perhaps you could use cut down .30 remington cases for this project? If the 10mm mag brass is the same excepting length, the .30 rem certainly wouldn't be.... id imagine after trimming to length, you would need to open the brass up at the new case mouth. Would be time intensive, but so would cutting down 10 mag  ;D but for such a cool project id imagine it would be worth it!

Thank you Shadow _ the man says the web is actually thicker in the 10mm auto than the 10mm mag - OK on to the 30cal brass ?????
Shadow - I'm out of my element here - what rifle brass would conform to the basic 10mm specs - I have no Idea where to start???

30 remington.

Even better, it is the parent of the 6.8 SPC, and there is brass out there for 6.8.  It could be trimmed down.  I take in all the splits from my 6.8 shooting friends and have them sequestered to section and compare someday.

I can say when was the last time I saw a 30 Remington casing if ever?  ???

Yeah..30 Remington is pretty rare.

6.8 SPC brass though..That is not un-heard of.  And as I say, put the word our you are interested in folks splits.  Most guys just toss them, so you can often get them for free.
