Playing around with the new camera. In addition to the 480 fps and 1,000 fps in this video, it can also do 240 fps, 120 fps, and 30 fps. Image resolution decreases as frame rate increases but it will do 1080 at 30 fps. This camera is really impressive for $155 shipped and I really look forward to doing gelatin tests with it. IIRC.....I'm not that familiar with that camera, but in general, to help the resolution, good lighting will do wonders.

Yeah, 99% of photography is lighting. The tests will be outdoors in daylight so it should look pretty decent.

Congrats!  You are absolutely correct you are recording the light that is reflected back to the lens.

Yep...no questions....especially if it is like your other videos....there will be plenty of light.

I had a buddy who videoed butterflies/birds/other insects at high speed to obtain the wing movement and such. He found out real quickly, cloudy days were not his friend. LOL!
