Hi,
I originally got into the 10mm club back in 1990 with an early S&W 1006.  I just got back into shooting the 10mm adding a Glock 20 and 29 (both Gen4s - I'm a lefty).  I have since gone through all of my stock pile of old ammo, and have ordered all the hot stuff (Underwood, DT, CorBon, etc), but have also been shooting some of the less expensive (less power) Georgia Arms 180 gr., Freedom, UMC, etc.  Looks like a lot of the folks are out of the "plinking" ammo now, so looking for some inexpensive play ammo - is the newer Remington UMC ammo decent?  I have found quantities of it at some online stores (through www.ammoseek.com).  And I am certainly open to other suggestions...

In the brief time between my Witness and my reloading press, I shot Georgia Arms.  For plinking ammo, buy what meets your price point.  Pretty rare to hit ammo that doesn't go bang in this day and age.

About the best bang for the buck currently is the "New" LAX 180gr FMJ. You will get new Starline brass and >1100 FPS due to a nice load of Power Pistol. I shot their reloaded version and did have a couple of setbacks due to PPU brass being used. I made them aware of what I found and they refunded me for those. Hopefully now they don't allow PPU brass in the mix.

Great, I just ordered a 250 package of the "New" LAX 180gr FMJ, can't wait to try it out!  (I think I got the last one, but looks like they still have the 100 count in trays)

I can also vouch for the LAX "new" ammo as well. I've gone through half of my first 1,000-round order and haven't had a single issue in my Gen4 20. It's also noticeably more powerful than the stuff from Freedom Munitions, for almost exactly the same price.

I have not tried any of the others listed, i got 8 or 10 boxes of armscorp 180 fmj after i got my glock 20. What little i have shot so far has been good, life.. health problems and dead vehicles has kept me from getting to the range to shoot more.
