Yesterday my son and I fired another 100 rounds of Underwood 165 grain tmj through the Gen 4 Glock 20.

There were no issues to speak of regarding the ammo or the gun. I did find that one of the ten round mags that came with the gun (yes ten rounders....uggh) was bad and I tossed it. The other 10 round mag worked fine as did the 15 round mags.

The two Glocks I have (Gen 3 and Gen 4) are well supported in the chamber area and so far I have had no issues with Underwood in both guns. I have fired PBR and Buffalo Bore in my Gen 3 and there are no issues with this ammo as well.

I have been using a 24 pound RSA from Glockmeister with the Underwood.

I will try and get some videos up later if I can get it to work.

Good news.  I am debating between the G20 Gen 3 SF or the G4, at this point it is a toss up.  I also plan on going with a 22 or 24 pound RSA from Glockmeister, and I will be shooting hot reloads, but nothing over published max.

How far is your brass going with the 24 pound RSA (I'm concerned about reliability, I don't like brass that dribbles out of the gun)?  I'm going to try the factory and either the 22 or 24 pound glockmeister/ISMI spring, trying to decide.  I will only be shooting hot reloads, 180 xtp and lead.

Question on the GlockMeister RSA, I have been a little reluctant to go from the dual spring stock to the single spring aftermarket as I figured Glock designed it for a reason...  Are you happy with it and no issues?  Have you fired lower power rounds with the 24lbs and everything functioned as expected?  I have been firing some of the hotter Underwood loads with stock G20 G4 (and stock G29 G4) with no issues on the G20 (correction, one failure to eject out of 400 rnds of Underwood 180 gr.).  I have had a couple of trigger reset failures on the G29, so I did order a 21lbs for it, but haven't tested out yet.  On the last reset issue, I did notice that it failed to return to a fully locked battery (I could see a little brass through the slide).  Since the G29 is a carry gun I might just stick to stock and use factory loads (Hornady Custom 180 gr. XTP).  Any input would be appreciated.  I find it funny that the old S&W 1006 seems to work flawlessly no matter what I throw at it, but the Glocks need aftermarket refinements!  Too bad it is so heavy...

Cwall64, on the Glock 29 I would consider ordering a new factory OEM RSA and testing everything out with that again. I had issues with my G29 sf I purchased back in '10 having Underwood loads cause misfeeds. I tried Glockstores 23 lb RSA and it worked for the most part but sometimes locked my slide open while there was still ammo in the gun. I recently ordered a new factory RSA and haven't had any new issues. So far so good. I shoot and carry Underwood.
For a load that's full power but not Nuke status I'd recommend Federals New Trophy bonded load. I have never had any malfunctions testing that one.

Dave84, good information!  I have an email into Glock as this is a brand new gun.  I did throw the Glockstore 21# RSA in today and ran 200 rounds of the Underwood 180 gr loads through it without experiencing any issues, but I really would like to keep it stock since it is one of my carry guns (I might be being a little anal on my concerns...)

No issues at all with the 24 pound spring and Underwood Ammo in the Gen 4. It runs like a champ, and has run better than with the stock RSA.

This could be different for each individual gun though. I have read some other people haven't had the same luck. YMMV..
