I recently purchased a Lone Wolf converson barrel (10mm to .357 Sig) for my Glock 20.

Using the standard Glock 20 magazines, I fired Speer Lawman 125 grain .357 Sig (#54232) @1350 fps through this combination. I must say that the grip and weight slide of the Glock 20 Gen 4 along with the .357 Sig cartridge made an absolutely superb combination. The feeding was flawless, and the gun recoiled very smoothly compared to 10mm ammunition.

After firing the .357 combo I swapped the barrel out for the stock 10mm, and I did notice the difference immediately in recoil and power going from .357 Sig to 10, with the 10mm obviously being more powerful.

Advantages? The .357 ammo is cheaper than 10mm. I can buy 4 boxes of this compared to 3 boxes or 10m for the same amount of money spent.

The follow up shots for .357 are quicker and easier with the G20 platform than with 10mm ammo, or say, with a standard G31 / G22 platform.

With the heavier G20, gun life would IMHO be extended than firing the same ammo through the standard G31.

All in all, it is a very nice combination.

Just thought I would share. Have a good New Year!

4949Shooter, I have found the same thing with the 357Sig from my G-29 factory length LWS Barrel. 8)  I have yet to get the 357Sig barrel for my G-20, but the 9x25Dillon has also worked well from both the 20 and 29 although the 6" barrel in the G-20 is what really gets those up to speed. ;D

Are you handloading the 357Sig for your self?  I have been loading them with good success, but they do take a little more attention to the details and the bullet design has a lot to do with preventing setback issues.

The 357 Sig in my G 29 is clearly snappier and more enjoyable than the 40 conversion.

Its a nice bullet. Still looking for the Sig Nightmare to come out.

I do notice a difference between .357 sig and .40 S&W.

Shadow, I am not loading fo the .357 at thit time. The Lee press is still at my parents' house. I might invest in some dies.

I had gotten a set of the LEE 357Sig dies but even with pass through sizing and case lube for sizing the LEED sizer stated marring the sides of the cases.  I quickly when on the hunt for a set of Dillon 357Sig dies, they are more expensive but have dual carbide sizing sections to make things easier.  Dillon's set has the Sizer Die, Seater Die and Crimp Die in the set.   I still use the expander part of the LEE set or my RCBS 9mm expander for this operation.

I have tried to polish the LEE sizer die but it will not clean up... ???
