I asked Eagle about the status a day or two ago... Response:

As far as we have been told, it is! We are waiting government approvals. Once we have more information, we will be sure to announce on our GP Facebook page.

It seems like it will be, but for sure not on the timeline we were presented. Maybe next year!

The follow-up:

it will be next year.  probably 1st quarter.

If and when they make it here I may fondle one at a gun shop. It would need to be VERY good for me to buy one at this point though. I would rather have a SAR K2 in 10mm anyway. How about we start pushing SAR and EAA to get these going. I think they were being made at one time. Let's put some pressure out there to get them.

Intercooler

The SAR is a Witness knock-off. I think this might be the plastic gun some of us want compared to what's currently available.

Not quite a Witness knock-off.

The K2 is a fantastic all steel 40 oz. 14+1 .45. I am using a Sprinco made for a Witness that fits perfectly and an 18 LB. recoil spring and shooting Underwood .45 super. (not recommending it cause I don't want to be responsible for your choices in life) This would be a helluva nice 10mil if we could get them here.

Intercooler

It doesn't offer anything over the Witness line and the Xtremes are just now starting to become available.

Not sure about the 10mil version but the .45 offers a higher flush mag capacity than a Tanfo.

They are both derived from the CZ-75 design, but I think the SAR version is a little better than the Witness.  But, I have never shot one so it is a null comparison.

The .45 super I'm shooting out of mine are about the same energy as full power 10mm. If the 10mil version has the same feel and an increased capacity, it would DEFINITELY be the new must have 10. I'm pretty happy with a 15 round .45 super but this gun with, like, 17 rounds of 10mm goodness.........that would be a great handgun. If anyone here has the ability to dig deeper to get info on what was/is the production 10mm SAR offering it might be worthwhile to start some begging by the US masses to get it imported. ;D

Doesn't surprise me.

Of course, the 10mm is gaining some in popularity.

I'm seeing a bunch of FB feedback on Henning's page:

Perhaps WE should all call Eagle as suggested.

Humorous, Dave Copping is telling us its already approved...as he did in the past, eagle imports is saying that it is not.

Round and round we go. Ill call eagle imports tomorrow and raise some stink. Any more, it's just a mission to me to find out who is lying.
