New update...

Approval for the USA was completed. I was told today, expect to see them in 100 days or less.

This is for the 4.25" model and not the 5".

Why not the 5 inch model? That's the one I would buy.

Intercooler

It hasn't made it through red tape yet.

If it has a safety and no decocker I will likely buy it and be reminded why I didn't like the rotating barrel on the beretta cougar.

Seems everyone is going bananas over this thing... Has anyone even held one or shot one? I don't think so in the US but any Canucks out there that have? Also this is a polymer gun and it looks like around eight and a half to nine hundred dollars ? what would be the advantage of this over say in elite witness??? I agree it looks cool and should be lighter than others...but how would it compare.to the other polymer gun that's almost half the price? I'm new to the 10 millimeters and looking to buy another one so these are serious questions and you guys with the knowledge and expertise I'd really like to pick your brains on this.

I think in large part it's something new. I have 4 10mm's 3 of them 1911's and a polymer witness and I've formally had both the glock 20 and 29(I will get another 20) You do have a valid point though with the witness steel. I will add I highly doubt I would like it over either of my rock islands.

I agree....I got my first 10mm, rock island ms tac, commander size....while I really like this it is back in the shop for jamming issues......I am now looking for a.larger, hi cap model...ie; glock 20/40, witness elite match and maybe even the grand power....I think it's great we are getting more and more choices but me being a 10mm newbie, I am doing as much research as I can.

Glad to hear at least one made it through the system. Is the 4.25 a full size grip the way a 1911 commander is?

To those who don't understand the excitement. I'm excited because its another 10mm coming to the market. The more that appear the more my 10mm collection grows and the more likely a 10mm M&P appears someda. The grand power fits something I really want which is a polymer gun that has a solid history and isn't a ghastly glock. Too many horror stories with witnesses for me to consider one.

will965

yes the 4.25 barrel commander size still has the full size grip. it takes the 45 full-size mags easily. I only have one mag so far the Metal form mag but it's horribly unreliable with any of those other mags... hopefully when I get back from the shop it'll shoot much better and I'm planning on buying several metalforms mags for it as that seems to be the only one that's halfway decent.and yes I think I'm done with the 10 millimeter 1911 I'm looking for the high capacity possibly polymer gun or maybe a steel witness still haven't decided yet still researching.

$900 seems to be the new $500 gun.  Makes Glock, EAA and RIA look really good.

8 to 900? No thanks...
My Dan Wesson cost more. My Fusion Firearms longslide 10mm cost a LOT more.
Heck, I just spent $700 something on a Mechtech CCU for 10mm.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
