I got this just now from David:

OK, I just got an e-mail from Eagle Imports. Your name and a Daniel  were mentioned specifically.

I don't know what language was used with the ladies at Eagle Imports but if the goal was to let them know your interest in the 10mm variants, it backfired, badly. I'm going to suggest if your language or tone was anything less than gentlemanly, you consider an apology. If you know who Daniel  is, let me know and I will deliver the same message.

I don't know who Daniel  is, but know for a fact I haven't spoken to any lady at Eagle Imports and my last call was months ago to a gentleman. Not one bad/foul, etc... word by me said to him. I'm smelling some more lies, especially where I'm concerned. Is Daniel from here??

Cripes. Enough is enough with these people.

It would be better if some one other than the Eagle Imports was trying to bring these in... ???

I'm pretty happy with a 15 round .45 super but this gun with, like, 17 rounds of 10mm goodness.........that would be a great handgun.

Geez ask these people where the miscommunication between all involved parties is and they get upset.

One side says its approved, another says it isn't. All I wanna know is when I will be able to order one and why the 10mm seems to be stuck in the approval queue yet the other calibers came through fine.

I do find it humorous that Dave removed his post from the henning facebook page where he said the P40 in 10mm was already approved and that P40L variants would be coming over for approval in the next shipment or two. Should have taken a screenshot of that.

Found another post on his page stating the same information. Also, check out his last post, seems I rubbed him the wrong way by using his own statements and asking grand power why they give different information.

Very nice pistol but single action (I prefer SA/DA for carry) and quite a bit over my pay grade. The .45 SAR is a 500.00 gun. But yeah, NICE!

Oh my  :o You are correct! I see he has removed what he said about them being available and that's fine because we all saw it when it was there. Somehow he is really out of the "actual loop" and that's been the biggest tire deflator in this whole thing.

I see no reason why it should be a bother to ask for buyer information to someone that knows the facts. It's when they don't...

Yeah, but I don't know if a double stack 10mm gun would fit in my rather small short fingered hand. Which is why I don't have a Desert Eagle in .44 mag or .357 mag, or a LAR Grizzly in .45 mag.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Most of the double stack 1911's out there aren't hugely bigger than a since stack 1911.  They accomplish this by using wafer thin grip panels.  The geometry is different, but the overall circumference is pretty close.

Gandog,

I'm in the same situation as you.  Short stubby fingers.
Have you ever tried a Para Ordnance with a short trigger installed?
I have a late 90s vintage P16 I use for Limited division USPSA.
With a Short trigger, I can just manage it.

If you can afford the coin, SV   offers a small steel frame wide body option custom built from mild to wild.  I've shot a few of these over the last season and am thinking of having one built to replace the old Para.

I have the SAR k2p it's a reliable gun but it feels like it was made from legos and it also isn't rated for +p. I paid around $250 for it new.

I'm telling you, they don't even hold a candle to making you wait like VLTOR who is supposedly supposed to bring back the Bren 10.

Yes I think their round tuit machines are still on order on that one
