I have shot a few hundred 155 XTPs using Bluedot. Lots of muzzle  blast compared to other powders I have tried.

:D  Blue Dot is vocal, without question. It does seem to like working with XTPs, though.

No doubt! My only issue with blue dot is that its hard to come by around here

Thankfully, Alliant pistol/shotgun powders of all stripes have been seen more regularly in my area these days. I have to say that I (thankfully) was reasonably well stocked going into this last shortage, so I never was in too terribly bad need of components.

Wow i have been off the forum for a while 'but it looks really nice!I apologize for digging up an old post but i just had to ask because it relates directly to my op 'so I have been great safe rests using 10.00 grains of longshot absolutely  no problems  as long as I stay with cci large primers would it be safe  to try and step up to 10.5 like Underwood?Has anyone else done this with a stock G20sf  unsupported  barrel?Or should I just stay where iam at?

halfglocked, If you do decide to try this I would suggest you add 0.2 grains at a time a test while inspecting your brass for signs of excessive pressure, like flattened primers or smiled brass...I run non captive 22 lbs recoil setup on mine.

Who's to say how your lot of powder will perform using your method of loading for the given test. ::)

As you begin to push the limit, the cap will entirely be dependent on your conditions (gun / brass / primers / powder lot / box of bullets / temperature / phase of the moon / etc).

My conditions are not yours, but I stopped at 9.9gr LS w/ 155s.

Stay safe.

Okay thank you both for the feedback, iam thinking  I will stay where iam at ,no issues no over pressure sings and  the extra 100 fps isn't worth any kabooms.i did want to ask does LS have any flash suppressors in it?I ask because our church had a shoot out well into dusk and my loads didn't seem quite the signature some of the other pistols. Although louder.

One of the nice things about the 10mm is it is tolerant of many powders.  My experience does not include nuclear type reloads.  My idea of a max load is in the general area of what the Hornady book would call a max load.  My experience between G20 & G29 (3 7/8" barrels up to 5 1/4" barrels) is with 155 to 200gr bullets.

For 180gr to 200gr loads I prefer Longshot.  These are hunting loads to they are meant to run at max pressure/velocity.  With the 5 1/4" barrel the Longshot gives me a very accurate 1,330 fps with the 180gr XTP and 1,235 fps with the Beartooth 200gr WFNGC bullet.

For 155 and 165gr bullets I prefer Power Pistol.  It looses less velocity in shorter barrels than Longshot and is less sensitive to minor changes.  9.0gr of Power Pistol gives a bit over 1,200 fps with a 4 1/2" barrel and is an accurate easy shooter with either the 155 XTP bullet or the 165gr Gold Dot bullet.  It is well under max, easy to shoot and still packs decent power.  FWIW, I have tried CFE Pistol with most of these bullets and I find Power Pistol much easier to get good non max loads out of.
