I know people talk about grip angles, I've always been amazed by the Ruger 22...
Good luck, it should be loads of fun!  8)

Good job on the Ruger purchase. That's something you can hand down to your kids one day, not because their an heirloom, but because they're so durable. I've got one from the late 60's that is one of the most accurate guns in my safe.

Going to use the Mark III for Chrony setup today. See how much if any the velocity changes from the 22A. First 500 rounds through this one today!

Congrats on the new plinker!  Love the stainless steel.  I doubt you'll ever wear out that one!
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I have a Ruger also love shooting it but cuss every time I have to break it down and do a full clean on it! That blasted back spring is a real PITA!!!

Man ain't that the truth!

I don't shoot mine enough and hence clean enough to remember the "trick to getting it back together.

When I was 14 I shot a brick or two every weekend and breakdown and  reassembly was a piece of cake.

Then a few years later it was fast cars and girls.  Guns took a back seat.  It was as while before I got back into shooting.

Man, that was over 40 yrs ago, I can't remember details such as Ruger reassembly.
