Hi Everyone,

My name is Jesse and I just joined.

I've been a 10mm owner since 2005. In fact, my first Glock was a 10mm. I currently own a Glock 20, Colt Delta Elite, and S&W 610. My next 10 will be a CMMG Banshee, but for me, that's big purchase and it might take some time.

I really enjoy the 10mm, not only from a ballistics point of view, but also a level of indefinable gratification that I don't quite get with a 9mm or 45ACP. Oh BTW, I hate the 40 S&W.

Glad to be here, this looks like a great forum.

Welcome Jesse, and yes, shooting and loading 10mm is truly a gas, and gives me the biggest grin every time I go shooting 😀
Enjoy!

My name is Randy and I live in Roanoke Va.  I retired after 31 years on the police force, spending the last 25 as head firearms instructor at the regional police academy.  Obviously been around long guns and handguns most of my life.

I am a big 10mm fan and currently own several.  I have a 1006 that I actually built at the Smith & Wesson factory when I was up for an armorers school back in the mid '90's. I also have Glock 20 and a Glock 40 MOS, a Kimber Custom II, a Ruger stainless SR1911 10mm and my current favorite...  a Ruger 10mm Night Watchman.  I had a couple different Delta Elites over the years and a 610.

I am fortunate in that I get the opportunity to bounce bullets off of steel plates and steel targets on about a weekly basis, so consequently I spend a lot of time reloading, especially for my 10's.

Hello. My real name is Dan. I'm new to this forum. I'm a 53 year old former Marine Captain. I'm also a disabled veteran. I've been a reloader for about six years. Been shootin' since I was 19. I was active in IDPA competition until a couple years ago  when my military disability worsened. Anyway, I bought my first 10mm in 93' from another Marine. It was a good old Gen 2 Glock 20. Still proudly own her, although I've made a number of modifications. I'll try to upload a picture of her soon. For most of my firearms life I have embraced and spread the gospel of the 10mm amongst my friends and acquaintances. Hasn't always been easy. As you all know, gun owners are very attached to their calibers. I enjoy handloading the 10mm and I've mostly left the JHP's behind and converted to hardcast. Montana Bullet Works makes great projectiles. Been loading 200 and 220 grain hardcast. Very powerful. Anyway,I've also diverted into 45 and 40 Super lately. To me those are really the only cartridges in semi auto that can rival the 10mm. Many shooters despise these wildcats but their performance speaks volumes. Great to be aboard with all of you!

Hey everyone!

My name is Alex. I'm a 21 year old college student that's been into shooting and hunting for years but just recently got into the 10mm and reloading.

I just bought a G20 and a KKM match barrel in the factory length. I also just picked up a chronograph and a variety of powders to start out with. I'm looking forward to picking up some knowledge from everyone and hopefully giving some back eventually!

Welcome to the forum Alex!  The G-20 should serve you well.  At some point you might want to upgrade to a stronger recoil spring for heavy loads.  I run mine with a non captive rod 22lbs spring from Wolff Gun Springs.
Best regards! :D

Hi all,

I'm a production CNC machinist in northern CO.  I have been shooting for many years but have only really started appreciating the 10mm this year now that 9mm is so expensive!  The only 10mm I own is a 2nd Gen Glock 20 (made in 1991) and I've just started hand loading for it.  I'm a competitive shooter, I occasionally hunt, and my machining career has gotten me to dabble a bit in "gunsmithing", though I've not tackled any complex projects.

I've probably got more questions than answers but thanks for having me anyway!
