Hi all, thanks for hosting and for having me!  I've been shooting and reloading for about 40 years.  I'm a big 1911 and GLOCK fan.  In 10mm I have a G-20 fullsize and a G-29 SF.  I have 2 1911s on their way, an Iver Johnson Eagle XL 10 ported 6" and an STI Nitro 10.  I think it was the last one available in Canada since STI quit producing 10mm's.  I just got 750 180gn copper jacketed bullets and 1000 Starline brass.  I have a jug of HS-6 that I picked up for general handgun loads as I couldn't find any 231 back when there was a shortage so I'll probably use that for some first loads and see how that goes.  Interested in loading data and everything else 10mm! Cheers, SNH

SnApPyNHaPpY, welcome to the forum.  HS-6 has some uses with 10mm but doesn't provide the highest velocities obtainable.
You can view the data here: http://10mm-firearms.com/reloading-10mm-ammo/10mm-load-data-collection/

Thanks, The_Shadow, that gives me lots to go ponder.  I've been thinking maybe BlueDot to work with as a higher range powder that's still moderately forgiving?  This is strictly for the range so I don't need maximum penetration or terminal ballistics.  Looking for consistent, well-functioning loads in all the guns at proper 10mm power with those 180gn bullets.

Welcome SnApPyNHaPpY,
10.4gr's of BlueDot under a 180gr XTP or similar will get you amazing accuracy
Take Care

Hello all, Glad I found you all. I am starting to gear up to shoot the sprung witness 10 mm again with 800x. It has been my favorite. also going through all the reloading stuff I have acquired since 2000. have been reloading some target 9mm for my daughters shield. 115 hornady fmj w/BE-86 @ 1035fps works well and very clean. Also nice in my 9mm witness. 1150. But still cant find my 100 box of 9mm Montana gold 124 Hps. I spent all day. Wow the Labradar works well in the indoor range down the street. year membership unlimited. not crowded.

Hello all. My name is Dan. Im from SE PA and have been into firearms most of my adult life. Im 40 years old and own several firearms for hunting, target shooting and self defense. I reload my own ammo. I currently do not have a 10mm but hopefully soon will hence the reason i am joining this forum to learn as much about this cartridge as I can. Im thinking about getting the Glock 20 and hopefully a 10mm carbine as well. I served in the Marines from 98-2002 MOS was 0811 "Artillery".  I worked as a correction officer for 13 years, a private investigator, construction, and now local police department as a civilian processor "I book criminals into the local jail". I have a 2 teen boys, wife of 19 years and a dog "Boxer". Collect knives and have had  my concealed carry licence going on 15 years now. Carry 98% of the time either a Smith & Wesson M&P shield 9mm or a Ruger LCP.

Once again Dan to the forum and Thanks for your service!  I visited PA once for a hunting trip back in 1976, great experience hunting up in Center County, with friends that had family there.
Many had various different beer makes on tap as everyone had a refrigerator with a tap on the door in addition to bottles and cans...
Best of luck with you getting your 10mm procurement!  ;)

Man! 101 pages of introductions; I have a lot of reading to do to catch up!

Really glad I found this forum.  My name is Mitch and I live in Ellensburg, a small town right in the center of Washington State.  Starting reloading when I was 19 and instantly fell in love. My first press was Dillon 550.  I currently use two presses: a Hornady LNL AP and a Hornady LNL Single Stage Classic.  Love both presses dearly.

I'm married to a flight attendant and have two kids - a 6yo boy and 2yo girl.  My son has been fascinated with guns and reloading since before he could walk and talk so it's been fun having him show interest and want to be involved with some of the things I enjoy most in this world. I'm a physician recruiter for the local hospital.  Love my job.  The pay is great and it requires absolutely no travel so I can be home with the kids when my wife is flying.  We tag along when she's flying somewhere fun and I'm currently saving up funds for my first Alaska hunting trip.  Still unsure of what I'll choose but it's been fun planning.

Most of my hunting these last few years has been archery but I always carry a .44 mag with me when I'm in the woods.  Last week I purchased a G20 and I haven't been able to put it down.  First Glock and first 10mm!Super fun and this will be my carry gun when I'm in the lower 48.  After only a week I feel the 10mm bug and have been itching to buy another one already.  I see a G40 in my near future!

Really looking forward to browsing these forums and interacting with you all, so it's nice to virtually meet you!
