Greetings from SE Indiana. I am not new to guns but am fairly new to the 10mm. I hope to learn more about the 10mm from the Forum and hope I may be able to pass on my knowledge to the other members here.

Greetings,

I am Jim from Northern Wyoming. I got into shooting and specifically the 10mm as it is a cartridges that balances well against 2 legged and 4 legged threats we have. While I can appreciate the power of 44 mag and above, the comfortable push of a good 45, or the low recoil and rapid shot placement of a 9mm, the 10mm just hits the sweet spot for me. I am an engineer by trade but outdoorsman at heart. I joined the forum to share my personal testing results as my community here in Wyoming has a beautiful and excellent range.

Hello all.
My name is Patrick. I currently live in socal but I am originally from Michigan. I am not new to powerful handguns having owned many 44 magnums and one 500 magnum. After much thought I decided the 10 mm was the best "handgun" for all around use including bear defense (just got back from Alaska, beautiful) and bad guy detergent. Hope to learn as much about this versatile caliber as possible. Waiting for my Glock 20 ten day waiting period to end. Already have a KKM barrel, extended slide release, new sights (can't remember the model), SS guide rod at 22#s, and the reloading supplies to support this endeavor.

Welcome to the forum Patrick! Sounds like you have a handle on the G-20 with the accessories. Good luck with your waiting period. Doesn't CA limit you to 10 round capacity mags?
