Glock20SF, welcome to the forum, thank you for your community services!  There are many law enforcemnt people here on the forum and like yourself are into our favorite 10mm cartridge and the firearms that shoot them.

The 20SF has been a great 10mm platform and people like the Glocks for lighter weight, reliability, parts availability and extra capacity.  My only change to mine was using the Wolff non captive recoil rod with the 22 lbs spring and conversion barrels.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions or being Glock certified armorer to add your two cents!   ;)
Best regards!  :D

TY both for the warm welcome. :)

Well I've been around a while but never made an introduction. I'm a 70 year old lawyer and have been in practice in the Rockies in Colorado for 40 plus years, working for myself the entire time, and have had an FFL & a small firearms business for over 30 of them. Started reloading over 30 years ago and continue to do so. I was on the original list to buy a Bren 10 and we know how that worked out. Not wanting a Glock my first 10 that I both paid for and received was a Sig, an impressive pistol. Just added a Witness P full size because . . . , well because. That reason has always sufficed so no need for another one. Regards to all.

Hello Sneed and welcome to the forum!  Well congrats with your Sig and I certainly understand the added a Witness P full size, as "Nobody Can Have Just One!"  Glad to see other handloaders on board here also, been rolling mine since 1979.
I too was on the list for the VLTOR Bren Ten and I am sort of a thorn in VLTOR's facebook page pestering them about the Bren Ten that haven't come to market!  However, after one year of waiting and canceling that order and getting my money credited back, I found an original Bren Ten Standard Model locally at a very reasonable price point considering today's pricing!

Anyways best regards to ya!   :D

I was on the list for the Dornaus & Dixon Bren Ten, not the Vltor version. That's how far I go back with the 10. Be very cautious in buying a D&D one though as, so far as I know, the magazine issues were never solved. Unless there is a third party solution you'll be acquiring a single shot.

So another newb to the fourms here, Im terrible at these things but my name is Arctic from the icy planes of hell, Better known as north dakota, Im a trucker who happens to be a gun loving conservitive millennial who prefers hard work to handouts (yes a few of us exist), Im just getting into 10mm after a friend loaned me his and got me hooked and am currently torn between a colt delta or an eaa witness but will be picking one up in a few weeks when i get in from my current otr trip.

Found this forum when searching for reviews on both the eaa and colt to make sure i dont get another fun glocknade blowing my hand open, Hope to be a productive member or at least an amuseing one and compare notes on reloading 10mm ammo once i get the proper dies and brass.

Welcome to the forum Arctic Fox, It seems you have already had the 10mm experience so that's a plus.  Someday maybe we can hear of the story of
QuoteI don't get another fun glocknade blowing my hand open,
if you care to talk about that.  Handloading is a big plus to help with the performance of the 10mm!

Best regards!  :D

Pretty simple story really one of the first guns i ever picked up was a glock 9mm, I think it was a glock 26 its been a while so im not sure, My mom was picking them for me to try them out so yea......Anyway I was trying guns out at the store for my 18th as mom wanted me to have a handgun and i decided to test fire said glock, Well the poly frame decided to fail on the left side and blew the entire side of the gun apart and tore the entire top of my hand apart and half severed 2 fingers and almost my right thumb tip as well.

I have a very poor opinion of polymer frames in general and glocks in particular, Not the best introduction to handguns.

As for hand loading i just got most of the equipment and ive only turned out a couple of 9mm rounds so far so im totally new to it but eager to learn.

just joined up, but have been a 10mm fan for years.  started out long ago with a S&W 1006 in perfect condition.  that pistol spoiled me.  i am a full time knife maker down here in AL.  when i am not throwing sparks at the grinders, i am usually tinkering with my guns or out with my dogs.  i have my dogs to keep me company in the shop and make sure i am not laying down on the job.  just picked up a new Rock Island 10mm and look forward to testing it out soon.  hope to learn a few things here along the way.

Smokey613

Just discovered this forum. I received my Colt DE SS as a birthday gift in 1987 from my wife and the Reserve Deputies at our Sheriff's Office. I added a beaver-tail grip safety, night sights and a FLGR. I carried it the last 11 of my 29 years as a LEO. I recently returned to LE and wish I could still carry it instead of the issued Glock 22.

My 10mm stash, it's a 29 year effort as some of the price markings attest to. :)

Smokey613, a hearty welcome and thanks for your service to the communities you serve!
Very nice old Delta Elite, while it shows some age and character, I bet it has stories to tell!
BTW, very nice old ammo stash, and we have documented a bunch of them to preserve their history.
Hope you enjoy the forum, best regards!  :D
