Welcome to he forum Dan.  There is plenty of info here and it continues to grow.  While the G20 gen4 is somewhat new some of the guys do have them, however mine is the 20SF model.  With the Gen 4 Glock tried addressing a few things, like the grip feel and sizes, recoil system too...

Welcome to the forum Dan.  I recently picked up a Glock 20 Gen 3 SF like new.  It joined four other 10mm self stuffers, and has quickly become a favorite.  I really want to hate Glocks, but it is hard when they are such a solid platform.

My education is engineering, though I work as a software architect now 20 years past school.  I also love me some motorcyles.  Currently I ride a vintage, mint condition '86 Honda V45 Magna.  Sometime next year I will probably add a KLR 650 or a sport touring bike, Yamaha FJR or Kawasaki Concours 14 are in competition there.

Thanks for the welcome.  I'm riding a 15 year old Ducati ST4 and a 2013 BMW K1600GT.  Talk about two very different bikes!  I like sport touring with the emphasis on "sport" hence the Ducati.  But as I get older I find sport touring with the emphasis on "touring" make my lower back feel better.   When my wife asks "why do you need two motorcycles?" I get the most confused look on my face.  That's like asking "why do you need so many guns?".  I guess I just don't understand the question.

I have an understanding with my wife.  When it comes to motorcyles and guns the number needed can only be defined as a function of the number I have.

Fn = Fh + 1 (or Mn = Mh + 1)

Well now that SIG and RIA finally makes 10mms, Grand Somebody is supposed to start importing them, and if VLTOR ever gets off their butts and brings back the  Bren 190 like they keep claiming is going to happen, might be a more popular caliber.

Hi Gang, Mark here. Just picked up my G40 gen4 last week, picking up my new  29 tomorrow.  Always liked the 10mm.  Glad to know I am not alone. Looking forward to learn as much as an old dog can. Retired LEO. Thanks.

Thanks for the warm welcome. When it comes to golf, I'm a hacker more than a golfer! I only play about once a month, in season. I enjoy the scrambles more than anything when it comes to golf.

undeRGRound, welcome to the forum!  Yes one of the very best things about 10mm is that it can be loaded from Mild to Wild and Extremely Wild! 

There are three notable Commercial Loaders left in the upper end performance; Mike McNett of Double Tap, Kevin Underwood of Underwood Ammo and Buffalo Bore Ammo, also one of the others that are no longer with us is Mike Willard of SwampFox Ammo.   The info is here on this forum for everyone to workup, study and test from their own setups.

This is why the "Pull-Down" documentations have been so important to myself and the others who are interested in preserving the cartridge for its Ballistic Performance across the broad spectrum of performance capabilities!

Finally checked back in, cuz I found (and bought) another great deal on a slightly used G20, gen 4 for a buddy.
Shipped it over, and his OL put it in his stocking    She's gonna pay me for it later, my contribution was finding
it and covering the shipping and outgoing FFL. 

I am about to look at the "wildest" hand loads for the Big 10, but for now the hot Underwood and BB are plenty!
I am thinking about an AR 15 10mm carbine, IMO that could really deliver the mail, so to speak 
I'd love to see 2000 FPS in a 16" barrel, is that doable?

Hey Everyone!

Name is Chris and picked up a G20SF a while back and figured this was the spot to learn more about reloading it, performance, etc. I own many types of firearms, pistols, handguns, etc. I tend to lean towards non-conforming calibers because they tend to outperform the norm and or do what I want/ need them to do. I am a huge fan of the 6.8 SPC II rifle cartridge. I own Rem700s, AR rifles and pistols in 6.8 SPC II and love to tinker with loads, builds, etc.

I am looking forward to learning from all of you!
