Welcome to the forum.  Search and the reloading section will be your friend for recipes.  Good look getting your gun outta jail in 10 days.

Josh, Welcome to the forum!  CFE Pistol is fairly new and haven't had the chance to push beyond the printed Hodgdon;s data much.  Understand that this is a faster burning powder than most for 10mm so the pressures can spike upwards quickly.
In the 135 gr test using the printed data showed me over the rated velocity... ;D

Thanks for the welcome. I am a fairly new reloader so I do not plan to push the limits of printed data by much, if at all. In what I have read so far, it seems I would be well-off to pick up some Longshot for my 10mm loads. I'll keep poking around in the reloading forum for more great data!

I've been around firearms longer than I'd like to admit.  I've competed, hunted, collected and do lots of rolling my own.  That being said I'm a newbie to the 10mm.  I guess I've resisted everything but 9mm and 45 for many reasons none of which are worth talking about here.
I bought a Dan Wesson  Custom Silverback in 10mm and that's all it took.  Now I have a G40 MOS on its way to my dealer, a G20 gen 4 Slide and a gen 30 sf with a SL conversion barrel.
My first hand loads were max loads with plated Berrys 180 gr flat points, and some Speer Gold dots.
And that's all it took.   I'm hooked!

I'm glad you good folks allowed me to tag along.  I hope to learn a lot.

Dwe, welcome to the forum!  Quite sure you can find lots of things here to suit your needs!
Best regards!  :D

G20C, shot OK with Remi UMC, not so much with Buffalo Bore 220g...
So I bought a 6.6" LWD barrel and 20# recoil assembly, some more
ammo (Underwood :D and some Freedom Munitions "vanilla") Still
need to try it out with the new setup.

Joined here to get any help I might need for the changes!

I like the idea of a 10mm-centric Forum, even most of the Glock guys
are not 10mm, and most Glocks are cookie-cutter anyway. I want to
run FULL POWER 10mm (the term "Nuclear" gets thrown around a lot!)
because I figure if I want 40 S&W power, I can just go cheap and shoot
40 S&W ammo! Got those too. More cookie-cutterZ. Which is fine...

Gonna go look around a bit  8)

PS: Next G20 mod is prolly the long slide...

My pix are too big, may modify for posting later!

Even when Glock says use of reloads voids your warranty? How nuclear can you go with commercial ammo?
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Underwood is hotter than anything I load.

undeRGRound, welcome to the forum!  Yes one of the very best things about 10mm is that it can be loaded from Mild to Wild and Extremely Wild!

There are three notable Commercial Loaders left in the upper end performance; Mike McNett of Double Tap, Kevin Underwood of Underwood Ammo and Buffalo Bore Ammo, also one of the others that are no longer with us is Mike Willard of SwampFox Ammo.   The info is here on this forum for everyone to workup, study and test from their own setups. :o

This is why the "Pull-Down" documentations have been so important to myself and the others who are interested in preserving the cartridge for its Ballistic Performance across the broad spectrum of performance capabilities!   ;D

Best regards and enjoy the forum!

Why is Sig keeping their rounds at 1250 along with Nugent rounds and HPR. It seems to be a good speed. My take.

Greetings all. Relatively new to the 10mm cartridge and firearms. Only one piece of hardware at this point, looking seriously at the Sig P220 as a near term second investment. Using only factory loads so far, haven't had the time to get into handloads.

Thanks for all the great stuff to read through here.

Heya Colt, just joined myself. I'm new to 10mm. I'm just a Glocktard with a G-20 and a buncha barrels. (which has been a blast to play with) I wanted a G-40 but you can't get them in CA. My state has some beautiful countryside, but lame gun regs. Oh well. After reading this forum for a bit, I'm liking it a lot better then most of the others I've come across. No spam plus quality content ;D

The_Shadow

DizzyDean, Welcome to the forum!  What other barrels did you get for your 20?

Best regards!  :D
