Hi all, I'm new to the 10mm scene. Picked up this S&W 1006 new and unused in the box about 6 months ago. Added a few upgrades and It's been love ever since. My P14's getting jealous.

Oh yeahhhh! I love the 3rd Gen. Smith's. I have a funny feeling I'm not alone here.

us_shooter, you and IC will become best friends soon. If you have a question about the EAA guns, I refer you to him. I've never fired one although I hear they are very, very good. I'm a 3rd Gen S&W guy with a couple Rugers and a Para thrown in.

Yeah, I noticed he has become a member over at Brian enos forums. I've been over there for quite a while. I got into the witness guns a long time ago. Bought my first one in 92 when it was being sold by Springfield Armory. Loved them ever since.
I love the smiths as well but never owned one in 10mm. I would really like to take one of the new Para DS 40's and drop a 10mm barrel in it.

You could probably tell us a thing or two about those EAA's as long as you've been blasting with them, feel free to share, that's what this place is for. As far as Para, I'm totally happy with the Longslide Hunter. I emailed Travis Thomasie last Thursday wanting a spare recoil spring, got one today (4 days), free. Great customer service. I'll never depart with my Smiths though, they make me feel warm and fuzzy. ;D

Found this site while researching a Witness 10mm. My first 10 was G20sf, which I sold for a G29 that I still own. My name is Matt and I live in Eastern WA. I love shooting handguns and 10mm is one of my favorite.

Hello the forum.  I am a 10mm lover who presently owns a flawless RIA 1911 in 10mm.  I previously owned a G20, G29, EAA and a DW.  They were all fine 10mm's and I regret selling the DW Razorback.  I have my own range on my modest six acre homestead and I won't shoot my beloved semi auto's with the snow so deep.  Brass is too hard to find.  But that is why they make revolvers, right?  I am a avid 18th century buff and Flintlock shooting has no equal.  The 18th century is the 1700's for those of you who slept in history class, me included.  I am 60 years old and history is getting more important to me every day that passes.  Besides rock locks and long bows, I shoot seven 1911's, a couple of Ar's and a small collection of revolvers.  A 10mm wheel gun would be cool to own.  Well, I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning about my favorite modern caliber.

Welcome to the forum River Rat!  While I don't have the flinters I do have a couple of cap locks and an in-line that are all just great shooters.

Best regards and enjoy the forum!  :D
