Terry, Welcome to a forum of good information and very nice folks.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Sqlbullet, believe the saying goes born in Texas, always a Texan. I got a good friend I visit often in Utah, love it up there - desert, canyons, mountains, terrific powder skiing (or for me snowboarding) ...so many damn options!

Drop me a line next time you are the SLC area.  We can grab lunch.

Will do - I fly into SLC since my buddy lives in PC - he's got a little snowplow/landscaping business up there.

After being a "guest" for a while, it is time to join the family!

My interest with the 10mm began a year ago when I began to look at a new round to hunt Michigan whitetails.
The level of knowledge and commitment on this website, put me squarely in your camp.

After looking at several companys that offer the 10mm, my choice became the G-20 sf. It was not the good looks but
the weapon platform that sold me.
A little history about my prev. choices...I am really a "revolver" guy at heart (mod. 29 and 629 smiths)

I could use your help...what iron sights would be a nice upgrade from stock to use for hunting out to 30yds (a self-imposed limit) from there a 35 rem will do the job!
Any thoughts would be great.......( ps...the glock is all stock..for now ;)

Welcome SagSlim59!! As far as the sights go you may want to look at the Mepro adjustables or those from Dawson.

Another New Guy here.

Just wanted to say Hi everyone.

I recently completed my 10mm build, and was online searching for reloading suggestions on the compatibility of using regular Winchester Large Pistol Primers with IMR-800x or Blue Dot.... and happened across this site.

So, here I am.  :D

I use Winchester large rifle primers, a 185 grain Precision Bullets RFN bullet, and about 11 grains of Blue Dot. Have had no problems with them yet in 2 different 10mm pistols.

Here's a target from 21 feet using them in my Dan Wesson Razorback 10mm.

Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

My name is Patrick from the Baton Rouge, LA area and just picked up a Block 20 this past week after not owning one for about 20 years . I had back when they first came out in 1990. I got  more into hunting with TC Contenders and Encores and River 44's, 45's, 454's, and 480's.  After all the earsplittenloudenboomers I'm back to the basics of a River 44 Redhawk and now the Glock 20 with lots of improved hunting ammo choices. I just found this site and am looking forward to more hunting reports and reloading data.
Good shooting
Patrick
