Hi everyone.
I'm John, I'm retired from the construction trades. I was born and raised in the Peoples Republic of New York (South of Buffalo)
and spent fifty plus years there, eleven years ago we moved to NC, much better weather and definitely more gun friendly.
I had my concealed carry permit in NY for twenty five years and now have one for NC.
As far as guns I'm somewhat of a gun whore, I've had everything from a Seecamp 380 to the Ruger Alaskan 454 (don't own either anymore)
The 10mm has always been of interest to me but I just never pursued it, until now. I recently acquired a Mauser M2 and while doing a little research on it I ran across a few articles about them being converted to 10mm so this is what I plan to do.

I hope to pick up a lot of useful information here and so far from my reading I think I certainly will.

Thanks for having me.
John

Actually I'm between 49 & 109, Denton mailing address but I'm in Randolph County and lunch sounds like a plan.

Hello ! I'm new and just wanted to share my experience with the Tanfoglio Hunter . I've owned  a Glock 20 and 29, a Colt Delta , Kimber Eclipse , and now this Witness Hunter.  This pistol  has surpassed  all the previously owned  guns. It's slim , the slide moves over the frame like it's on rollers and feeds "anything " I offer it. I did go ahead and add black aluminum grips, an 18# recoil spring , a couple of Hennings extra round magazine springs ( the original mag only holds 14 and with the new springs ,15 giving me all 16 rounds ). Adjustment of the pre travel and after travel internal and external screws needed  to adjust for personal liking making the 31/2 to 4 # trigger pull very nice. Accuracy is below two inches @ 25 yards. Try to find a 10mm pistol in polished blue that holds 16 rounds with adjustable sights for $950  ... ya can't. I don't mean to gush over this pistol but it might be the best pistol I've ever owned in any price range. If your on the fence about the Witness Hunter vs. another pistol don't hesitate to go for the Hunter.

Welcome to the forum fubar. There are several Tanfoglio owners on here and most report the same as you which is great. I'm glad you didn't get your screen name from your guns performance   ;D

Hello ! I'm new and just wanted to share my experience with the Tanfoglio Hunter .

Hunter seems to be kind of a popular name for a 10mm. My custom made Fusion Firearm 10mm is called a Traditional Hunter.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
