Where are you at in SW PA?

I'm in Ohioville, about 1/2 hour west of the Pittsburgh Int'l Airport.

Know it well.  I have some equipment we service at Washington Hospital and up I79 at Joy Mining in Meadowlands.

Hi All.  Another Rick here from Montana. I recently purchased a RIA T2 in 10mm. I love shooting this gun. Originally I couldn't decide between a 45 or 40 SW, but when I held the RIA 10 and did some research on the 10mm, I knew that was the gun for me.  I may get a RIA 1911 in a 45 someday, but right now I'm enjoying my 10. Wish I could find cheaper ammo, but I reload so I'll probably get started working up loads. Thanks for all the great talk and advice.

Welcome rhotbutte! What kind of ammo have you been running through the RIA and how was the accuracy/function?

Hi everyone.  Jon here from the DFW Texas area.

picked up a G20 hand cannon this past spring and am loving everything about it.  Stumbled upon Underwood's site and have only used his ammo so far.  So far so good on the factory barrel.  I also stumbled upon this site while researching for replacement barrels with better case support.  Am loving the Ammo section and I have read thru all of the factory pull-down threads.  What an awesome resource from a consumer perspective to know what is good and what to steer clear of.  The knowledge of those that reload seems an invaluable asset to this forum.  I love the fact that this forum has not and will not be commercialized = no ads everywhere.  Thank you thank you thank you.  :) :)

I am new to the world of firearms within the last year or so.  Have always had an interest, but my family was never into hunting or shooting.  Now that I am 40 and have some hobby money, I get to spend it on what I enjoy.  I am learning all that I can and hope one day to be able to contribute in my own right.  Maybe one day I will give the reload experience a try.  ;D

I also have G17 gen3, for now.

Thanks again for such an awesome forum.  I am glad this is here for us metric shooters.

Welcome!! You're in trouble now! That hobby money will soon turn into a small collection, gun safe, range equipment, books, magazines, more guns, reloading equipment, better equipment, more guns, etc. etc.

Yeah I know it is an endless money pit, but at least you get the added benefit of becoming well trained to defend yourself and those you care about.  I was collecting old school car audio stuff which just sits on shelves looking pretty.  Likely will selloff most of that and reallocate it to this new and exciting one.   ;D

Reminds me when I finally got my C&R license.

LET THE SPENDING BEGIN!!!!!   ;D
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Hello all.

Just joined last night. Fantastic site, can't wait to learn as much about 10mm as possible! I was tipped to this site by pacapcop when I bought his 1006 last month, and after talking with The shadow on the Smith and Wesson forum I decided to make it official and member up. I'm new to the 10mm game, only have experience with a G20 and the 1006 but I forsee a long road ahead as 10mm is flat out awesome.

Little about me, hail from lower central PA, love guns, and am very jealous of those of you that get to hunt with your 10mm semi-autos. My online handle is partially my initials and partially the favorite of my past vehicles, my '88 5.0 mustangs. I've parted with them but theres always the future. Im a civilian DOD employee and spend my work week as an electronics mechanic, working on the Army's PATRIOT Missle System. While I am not a veteran I have the utmost respect for all that have served and are currently serving.

I don't currently reload but have interest. Trying to acquire as much info as possible before taking that dive. For all of you that enjoy reading The Shadow's pull-down posts (as I do), Last week I sent him some Original Norma 200g fmj's to check out. Bought them at a local gun show and figured I'd share them so the info can be passed along! Look for the pull-down soon, he should be getting them today  ;)

Current wish list; S&W 610 to hunt with, a Gen2 Glock 20, 50k+ 10mm rounds  ;D

Glad to be here!

Welcome BT8850, I used to have a '90 5.0, totaled it in the one wreck I've had in my life, but it was sort if fun flying out the sun roof, at least until I hit the pine tree.... :'(
