Greetings folks!

I live in Colorado and have been shooting since I was a 10 when my grandmother to me to the local Western Auto in her small oil town in TX to buy me my first gun, a Crossman pump BB/Pellet rifle.

I had the pleasure of befriending a college classmate who was a Valley Forge Military Academy grad who helped me figure out my first rifle purchase.  A Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle, back just prior to the Brady Bill going active.  Since then I have built and refined my collection of rifles, shotguns and (mostly) handguns.  I bought my first 10mm when a local gun shop was closing and picked up the Kimber Eclipse.  Then my gunsmith (a prodigy of Bob Marvel) replaced the barrel with a Kart, put Ed Brown grip safety and main spring housing, a top shelf thumb safety, tuned the trigger (tuned up well enough that we didn't need to replace it), tritium 2 dot sights, VZ grips, and an accuracy and reliability job.  It will shoot WAY better than i can shoot this 10mm.  Then i ran across the 610 and had my gunsmith tune this and put a Nil grip on it.  WOW, what a kitten to shoot full-house 10mm through.  Makes the Kimber seem like new shooter a torture device.

Yes indeed!  I have coverage of almost all calibers, but the 10mm is my go to in an emergency, as I have 26 loaded 10mm moon clips for the 610 and 10 magazines for the Eclipse.  I am NOT running out of ammo first!!!

I just got wind of this forum from the Shadow yesterday.  So, I thought I'd take the plunge.  Seems like a lot of the old 10mm crowd are already here.  I migrated from another site, and a few members might know me from there.  I'm a long time 10mm shooter, and own them in the S&W revolver, and 1911 platforms [Dan Wesson, Kimber].  Thanks for allowing me to participate here.

Thanks all, for the welcome aboard.  I was getting bored at the last location with the general lack of participation, forum cliques, and constant clown threads.  This looks like the place to be.  I'm always looking to pick-up more info about our favorite cartridge.

Man this is a great forum with an infinity of great information and knowledge.

Anyway, I'm Chris out of Ohio and have been into reloading for the 10mm Auto for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy the hobby. I'm all about the 10mm and carry a G.20SF with me everywhere I go (which might seem funny for a 5'6" 135lbs guy).

Hey all, I'm new here, but I've been around on another forum building a G20, Which I have come to love more than my previous .45 autos, Which
had served my purposes just fine in the past. I had to sell them to finance a custody battle and upon winning went shooting with some old friends, needless to say toys I had never seen started to pop out of the woodwork and I started to buy a collection again, I started with the Glock model 20... I'll post pics soon, Just kinda ill at the moment.
I haven't really had a chance to go through the forum and meander yet, but I'll get to that this week.
I'm Retired Military, 43, and gettin' younger everyday.
