Unfortunately I fix them but don't own one. I tried to get one shop I worked for to make me a scope mount and that turned into a nightmare. They wanted $100 just to draw it on cad, then tried telling me I had to pay machine set-up fees. This on a machine I ran on a daily basis.

Hello. My name is Dave. I am a CNC controls tech. I picked up my first 10mm in 1996. It was a Delta Elite followed by a S&W 1076 a few months later.

Welcome! 8)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Hi. I'm Hank from Lexington, Kentucky. What a great discovery for me this forum is, a gold mine of smart people and good data. You guys rock! My first 10mm was a Fusion 'Traditional Hunter' long slide 1911 quickly followed by Smith & Wesson 1006 and 1076, then a Glock 29. I'm eyeing a Glock 20 which brings me to a question: Lone Wolf makes stripped long slides for the Glock 20; can any of you recommend a gunsmith you would trust to fit it with the needed parts (extractor, etc.)? Thanks for any help you can give me.

P.S. I really appreciate all the reloading data you've posted.

OThers can correct me, but I don't think you will need a gunsmith to fit parts on a Glock slide.  Just google detail stripping a Glock slide, and you should pretty much see the process of putting one together.  You just need a simple punch to do it.  A 1911 slide would require all kinds of file work here and there, but not a Glock.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

Greetings... just checking in after joining yesterday. After making a post over on the smith-wessonforum about finally becoming a S&W 1006 owner, it was suggested that I take a look over here... well I did and I really liked what I saw.

In addition to the newly acquired 1006, which I've been wanting "forever",  I've also had a 1076 for about 6 months, but have yet to fired a single 10mm round what with the dismal situation of ammo availability.  But... I'm a long time reloader too (started at 16 and I just turned 60), I just latched onto a bunch of starline 10mm brass and now I'm off to look for some good recipies  ;D

Those in to handloading really need to look over the pull-downs in the factory/commercial loadings.

Best regards, Enjoy the forum and post often!
