Nothing against the 1911s overall, I just took a different path. Since I'm not well versed in 1911s from any end of the spectrum, what kind of ballpark amount does one have to shell out for a NH similar to yours? And, would it generally be considered a step up from the Kimber or Dan Wesson you had in the past?

As we used to say, NH is pretty proud of their 1911's. This one cost me $3400 but I will say, it came with a very nice cordura bag. ${$default_cheesy_smiley}$ . It is my second NH and IMHO, neither the Kimber nor the DW come close. But then neither do their prices

I had no idea. Congrats on owning such a nice piece of equipment. One last question if you don't mind; How good is the chamber support at the 6'o clock position? My Glocks leave a fair amount of the brass unsupported. The aftermarket barrel for my Glock 20 is very close to full chamber support. What about your NH chamber?

Hey there my name is Sean. I'm new to the 10mm world and will be picking up my Glock 20c on the 25th. The 10mm has been on my wishlist for a little under a year now. I want to start reloading soon, until then any Info on some high quality budget ammo (if it exists) would be appreciated. Thank you.

Caneman recently started this thread with a useful link to finding ammo that is actually in stock:

That should help you some. Also be sure to check out Underwood Ammo. He has been a big supporter of the 10mm community and has very reasonable prices on premium level 10mm ammo.

Hi all!

I've been reading/leaching info from this forum for about a month now. I figure it's time I say hi, be social and such.

I'm in Utah, and I'm rockin a Colt Delta Elite. I'm a long time fan of the 10mm, but a new owner. This is by far the baddest handgun I've ever owned. I've recently acquired 500 rounds of ammo (truly painful ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ ), and it's clear the next logical step is to learn reloading. See you all around.

Hey all. New owner of a glock 20 c. Had a S&W 13-2 357 mag but was tired of having to shoot .38's so I wouldn't hurt it. So I upgraded to a glock 20. Oh how I love magazines.
