Greetings from Italy!

I know it's quite unusual.
I am 37, I started my interest in the 10mm beause I was a fan of Miami Vice and - lately - of Jeff Cooper works (I love Massad Ayoob too).
I won't write here so much.. I am not a shooter, but a writer.
Anyway, anytime I search info regarding the legendary 10mm, I come here.
I have recently wrote my first English novel, so I felt the urge to finally log in here (after so long time spent just reading it) and notify you that.

I am fan of Ayoob, Cooper, Frank Greco, John Plaster and many others 'real pros', so you can easly imagine the kind of fiction I write...
I like to think that I write 'firefights as Ayoob would do, if he'll ever start writing fiction'

You will find a link to my English novel inside the OFF TOPIC section of this forum

B regards - an italian ghost writer

I haven't been to Italy in a long time. I was stationed in La Madelina in Sardinia for about nine months. Flew from Mobile to New York to Rome to Olbia.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Hello Everyone - My real name is Gregg.  Born and raised in Wyoming, as well as my wife.  Followed in my Dad's footprints and worked in the oil fields most of my adult life as a Pipeliner (and yes, I am proud of it).  Currently live in Colorado and have recently retired after almost 40 years with the same Company.  Have been shooting and hunting (camping, fishing, hiking, climbing, etc etc) my whole life.  I have been reloading since I almost started shooting, first so I could afford it in the earlier years, and then kept at it due to the fun of the accuracy.  I did not have the opportunity to serve in the Armed Forces as many of you did, but Thank You All who did or are.  I had a 'draft card', but they quit the draft for Nam in 72 and I graduated in 73.  I shoot just about every caliber of long gun and have a few AR's.  I really like my pistols though, and my 10mm Glocks are about my favorite.  Hope to learn a few more things from my fellow 10mm lovers.  Thanks

Hello Gregg and welcome to the forum!  Sounds like you had an interesting life time.
Hope you find everything you're looking for if not just ask the right questions and someone should be able to help.
Best regards,  :D

Good evening from Marxachusetts!! My name is Mike, I'm pushing 50 years old and recently took a real shine to the 10mm round so this seemed like the right place to hang out. I'm on my second 10 mm handgun, the first was a Gen3, Glock G29, my second is a Smith & Wesson 1076. The S&W is an absolute tank, even hot loads feel like a mediocre .40. The round & the 1076 are both fairly new to me so I'll be full of questions I'm sure.

Thanks for having me,

Mike

Hi Everybody (say it like Dr. Nick Riviera from the Simpsons....),

Long time 10mm guy in Boise, Idaho who dropped off the map for a few years.  Finally dawned on me that 10mmTalk was virtually dead, and one post on there brought me to here.

As I said, I've been out of the game for a while, but still lingered & lurked now & then; starting to get back in to the swing of things.  I'm down to 7 10mm's; a couple of 1006's, a couple of 1086's, a Delta, a custom-built CCO (inspired by the Shadow, lo those many years ago), a Ruger Buckeye, but have had in the past a Les Baer, an AMT Javelina, an EAA Witness Elite Match, an original Razorback, a Glock 20, an AMT Automag V(?) in 10mm Magnum & I'm sure a few others that I don't remember, along with a brace of other guns, both semi's & revolvers.

Looking forward to reacquainting myself with some old friends & making some new ones.  8)

Sam

Yeah I still show up at 10mmTalk now and then. But it isn't worth it usually. Dead, dead, dead.
