Hello folks.  Bigsteve113 here.  I'm from the swamps of Louisiana.  Been a gunner, handloader, caster and hunter just about all of my life.  I've been carrying handguns professionally for 38 years now (retiring in 10 months). But, I just acquired my first 10mm a coupla weeks ago. A GLOCK 20.

Man, this thing is a handloader/caster's dream.  I've already twisted up some wicked loads.  I've finally figured I needed a 10mm after pushing the handloading limits of my .40's.  I quickly found out that I can easily achieve, and surpass, my goals with a 10mm.  I just wish I woulda started a long time ago.

Thanks for having me.  I know I'll learn a lot here, and hopefully I can occasionally add something useful too.

Welcome Bigsteve. The 10mm is indeed a handloaders dream. Components have been hard to find lately but sometimes you get lucky.

Welcome Bigsteve.  The Shadow has been offline for a few days due to Ida, but I am sure he will want to connect with you.  He is also from Louisiana.

Scruffy

Hey Everyone,

I go by Scruffy, 4 yr Marine Corps veteran.  Just recently bought a Glock 20 for bear hunting.  I changed out the barrel for an aftermarket barrel before I even shot it after discovering the chamber sizes.  I reload my own ammo, nothing crazy just to make them go bang cheaply and it is accessible to me when I want it.  I live in the Pacific N.W. close to Seattle but don't associate me with Seattle lol

Welcome Scruffy. I used to love up there north of Seattle in Everett for 15 years. Great hunting, fishing, camping over that whole state. Sadly Seattle runs the whole state and I had to get out of there.

Scruffy

Thanks for the welcome.  Darrington actually, 50 miles N.E. of Everett. 😉

Hello, all. I'm a life-long shooter but new to the 10mm. I've been fascinated with the round for years but never came across the right pistol. I bought a Witness a couple of weeks ago and I'm starting to work up loads. To prove that when it rains, it pours, I also found a Rock Island 1911 I just had to have. I hope to be able to tap into the wealth of experience here with the 10mm round to help work up good loads and maximize accuracy with my new toys.

Hello.I am Gavin from Utah. Retired US Navy, Retired Hydroelectric power plant automation, electrical safeties and instrumentation.
I just bought the FK BRNO PSD pistol in FK 7.5 and 10mm. It came with two barrels. The 10mm barrel will also shoot 40S&W. What a beautifully built pistol! and with its recoil attenuation hot 10mm rounds feel like standard 45 acp ammo. I have dies, brass, bullets and primers. Now to start loading so I can shoot.

Hey Gavin, welcome aboard from another Utahn.  I live in Salt Lake on the east bench and have a property in Duchesne county.

Welcome to the forum Gavin!  I'd be interested in seeing load data for the 7.5 FK BRNO rounds so be sure to post some info and range reports!
Have you pulled any of the factory 7.5 ammo to see what is being used and how much powder.  It would be interesting to see what's inside.  ::)
Thank you for your service, Best regards and enjoy the forum!  :D

Texas here. Also lived in Australia. I've regularly ended up at this website when looking for 10mm load data etc, so I figured I might as well sign up.

I've been a revolver guy for my whole life but I've got one semi auto pistola for hunting radioactive mutants and hawgs and general EDC and it's a 10mm Glock 20.
