Hey all,

I've been an avid 10mm owner / shooter / advocate since the early / mid 90's. I even authored the 10mm info (screenshot below) pages some of you may remember.

I guess other than relatively new 10's like the SIG, Tanfo and other recent 1911's I've had most of the early 10's with the Bren being the notable exception. Lately I've been loading and shooting the 10's I have left quite a bit and am even toying with the idea of a Tanfo long slide. Living in south Florida, I'm blessed to be able to shoot outdoors all year long, and a 10 longslide will be put to use there :-)

Regards,

Hello all! My name is Bret Lawson and I am a recent 10mm convert and am in love with the caliber. I am 48 and a retired machinist.  My only current 10 is a Springfield XDm10 OSP.

Thanks, will do. There's more that has happened with the 10mm since the 10 pages closed that I'm at least somewhat not up to speed on.

G29Guy

Just joined due to a link on Cast Boolits forum saying there was a new forum for 10mm enthusiasts.  Came here and realized that it was 8 years old and I had fallen victim to another zombie thread, lol.

Oh well, looks like a good forum, anyways.

I have only one 10mm, a Glock G29 used for carry in the mountains of Idaho.  Used it for GSSF for a year or so before getting a G35.  Obviously I reload for 10mm, and also cast my own bullets.

Looks like lots of great info here.  I've never been a speed freak or wanted to push 10mm to the limits, but the weak sauce factory stuff at ridiculous prices necessitated reloading for it.

Looks like a great forum!

G29Guy, Welcome to the forum!  I wonder if it was my old post over at Cast boolits from back then!  LOL
Yes those G-29's are great pistols...
Best regards!  :D

Topleft

I just joined largely due to how clean and uncluttered your forum appears!  Congrats to those who decided to set it up that way.

My name is Matt and live in Columbus, Ohio area.  I've been a 10mm fan since my mentor bought a Bren Ten for us to enjoy at the range.  Current collection in this caliber are: Sig, Glock, and B&T APC10 Pro.  Next addition will probably be the GP100 or 610 depending which is available when I have money.

Again, I commend how clean the site look.

Welcome Topleft.

Before COVID-19 interrupted business as usual I was in Columbus 4-5 times a year for work.  I would stay in the Grandview Yard Hyatt and enjoy meals at Eddies, which I understand is now closed for good.  Then there is the ice cream rivalry between Jeni's and Graeters.  I am on the fence and have to make sure I get good sized samples of both to try to break the tie.
