Just curious, but if you are gonna go for the bulk of a double stack why not go to the 6" barrel and have all the advantages that offers. That STI Perfect 10 is a wicked gun if a bit expensive.

Don't care for the weight of a 6" in a CCW.  My current CCW is a Para P16-40 converted to 10mm.  I don't mind the bulk of the widebody, and gotta think a 2011 frame would be a bit lighter.  Not to mention it would be a factory option and not a custom one-off.  Something like an Eagle or even a VIP in 10mm.
