I have several rifles chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.  I love this round and think it's an all round perfect cartridge for where I live.

Do any of you own a rifle or two in 6.5 Creedmoor?

panthercreekgunleather, Welcome to the forum!  I don't have a 6.5, but they are interesting.  I was doing some reading on the 6mm Benchrest site http://www.6mmbr.com/index.html and had thoughts about getting into the 6mm, insted, howevere I had gotten into a couple of the 30Cal rifles in my younger days.  (Money was tighter for me back then and getting tighter still in retirement!   :-[

What rifles do you have chambered for it?  I have several AR-308 lowers en route and plan to build a few uppers next year for them.  Convince me a 6.5 AR upper is worthwhile. ;)

I have a Ruger American a.k.a. the ranch/beater/farm rifle I carry with me around my property on an ATV.  I have a Ruger M77 Predator, and a Savage Lightweight Hunter.

Also, I'm 'in line' at Ruger's custom shop to have a Gunsite Scout chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.  It's not Ruger's Custom Shop per se, but a guy who they refer all of their Custom Shop deals to.  I bought a Gunsite off of a buddy back in March for $600, sent it to the man that does the Ruger Customs, and paid him $450 including shipping to rebarrel and chamber the Gunsite in 6.5 Creedmoor.  I have a regular Gunsite Scout in 308 that I love, and wanted one in 6.5 Creedmoor.

I've got all the stuff for a custom XP100 pistol in 6.5x47L to be assembled.  I just need to send it off to the smith.

There are so many great long range bullets, and I'm looking forward to seeing what it will be capable of.

Shadow, I do have an Encore pistol (16.25") barrel in 6BR and it does an impressive job at distances out to 600yds, at which point I'm out of scope elevation adjustment without a different base.  I also have a couple chambered in 30BR (9" and 18") that are impressive.  Muzzle flip on the 9" is a little crazy though.
