Well, except for the fact I have yet to hold a Glock that fits in my small, short fingered hand.

Ya, that would be an issue. ..you like the 1911 then I imagine?

Please... no more 1911's in any form!

I want something different, ergonomic and innovative with capacity. Currently that piece is the Grand Power.
Ya hit em' with 10mm you don't NEED capacity. If it takes over 8 shots, you should be running, not shooting!
Unless the zombies are coming.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

I think they will be nice, but I don't see myself buying one.

I'm a bit disappointed that the only model that actually had a formal preorder has missed its shipping date by almost a month while other models are in the hands of owners for weeks already.

If that gt20 hasn't shipped by the time the hunt ready one starts showing up I'm canceling my order and getting one cheaper on gunbroker.

Look at the people who are still waiting for VLTOR to remake the Bren 10. They have been waiting years!

Yep and I'm one of them that has been waiting on vltor to pull their head out of you know where. I would be perfectly content to see that company go under.

gandog56

Except if they do go under, then no more Bren 10's!

Yes, I was in on the VLTOR/Sporting Products purchase from the beginning as well...Had my pre paid order with the local BPS.  We all know how this turned out and I withdrew my payment 1 year later.

But when opportunity presented me with a REAL Bren Ten I jumped on it!  There are a few like it but this one is mine... ;D

By the way, the cover of this book has a Bren Ten pictured just like mine sits... 8)

Or the rights to make it get pried from their cold dead unwilling to make a bren ten hands and VOILA another company that actually cares  gets it done. I dont know who would but I see a better chance of another company making it than vltor.

10mm fan, witnesses, and bren tens are all scaled up versions of some form of CZ. Very similar.

Back on topic,

I sent Tom Gresham a message and mentioned that I was a bit bothered that the GT20 was advertised with the wording that deposit for payment in full "Assures" April first delivery. Then I ribbed him a bit about how he had to keep the year off of the listing just to be safe because he knew full well there was zero chance of getting it to owners by April 1 2015.

Sig probably moved it to the back of the pack since he changed the order to match up with the number of people ordering it Both the numbering on the side as well as the number of mags. Heck the number of mags may mean new cases (read have to rework the foam and the machine that punch out the mag slots in it) unless they just place an empty mag in the actual gun in addition to the two that sit in the fitted slots of the case.

Im betting those that ordered a gt20 are lucky if we see it by june 1

gandog56

Well, since I already have 3 10mm pistols, I am in no rush to get one. I figure I'll wait a bit and see if the price goes down any. Meanwhile I'll still play with my new Mechtech/Dan Wesson Razorback 10mm combo carbine.

Sig is blaming the delay on who ever was making the gun talk grips. They told durys they will have all 300 by may 15th.

Well, just picked mine up from the FFL.  I'm a Sig Stainless Elite fan.  Disappointed it's a two tone, but it's a Sig 10mm.  DA/SA with fixed sights.  I always thought I'd have a newer version Bren Ten first.  Oh, well, Dieing to take her out.  The springs on this are pretty stiff.  Guess it's been awhile since I've taken my S&W 10xx's out.  Forgot what they did to the Bren Ten slide to get it to show up for the dimmer shots,  contemplating...

Ran 200 rounds today in mine with all kinds of ammo and it was perfect.

Only problem was that it was firing low and left. ( I had the range officer fire it and he had the same problem)

Plus it is a HEAVY gun. I can now scratch off a S&W off my wish list, this is a much better gun.

The 220 Sig? I would like to hear how it's better than a 1006?
