S&W 610 prices are out of control

Thanks for the kind words Chriso. Last year I put my Performance Center 646 on Gunbroker and put a by it now price of $900.00. I thought that was a reasonable price for it. I noticed one identical to mine sell for $2900 earlier this year so I don't list a buy it now price anymore and the items I post will bring what someone is willing to pay and I will not feel guilty or consider myself  guilty of price gouging.

Just to put the end to my part of this thread, my 610 sold for $1513. The market and the final bidder set the price. He is getting one fine revolver and I hope he enjoys it as mauch as I did.

I am sure glad I have 3 610's all no dash. Two of them are 6.5" barrels with fluted cylinders, and the third is a 5".
All of them are Great! shooters.

$2109 for a 4" 610-3 with lock???. Amazing It's a perfect example of 2 bidders really wanting the same item. The 3rd place bidder stopped just north of $1600.

S&W is more likely to bring back a 10mm revolver than the automatic.

Wanted the 1076 and happy with the P220, so its off my list.

Just want a 10mm revolver, maybe Ruger steps up.

Clement's Custom Guns is the only practical way to go to obtain a new 10mm Auto revolver. It is truly silly for S&W to watch the market for the 610 to reach ionospheric levels without S&W "seeing the 'pot-o'-gold' and not tapping into it's popularity.

Couldn't agree more. The clueless clowns at S&W need to wake up. They still make the 629, so how hard would it be to simply machine the cylinders and barrels for 10mm??

Saw a 610 yesterday at the Berea Ohio show,1st one I've ever seen in person. Was a 6 1/2" unfluted cylinder. Had a $2100 price on it.
