So what is a good price for a Colt Delta 10mm? A LGS has gotten in 3 stainless and they are prices right at $1000, I'm on the fence about getting one because I already have a S&W 1006 & 1076 so......... I also have a Ruger GP100 getting converted to a 10mm.

We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America, but we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located.

Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

You can never have enough...

Who is doing your GP100 conversion?

TSP45ACP

Paid $1000 for my used Delta 2 years ago.  It's a 1988 1st gen, 2cnd year model.

I have Clements doing the conversion on my 4" GP100. If my math is correct I should be getting it sometime soon. That is another reason I havent "pulled the trigger" yet, I know this gun is going to be ready soon. I also dont know if I would shoot this Colt or just keep it new in the box in the safe.... It felt good in the hand and would be a nice addition to my 1911's but...

Can't say much about what they're costin' now'days
But I gotta brag about the deal I got on my Delta Gold Cup
In the mid 90's, I bought it new; for a month (or so) old Glock 20 and $100.00

New member here, long time 10mm fan.

I bought a NIB DE in December of 2011 and paid about $950 for it. Great shooter and have had no issues at all. I picked up a handful of SS Metalform mags for it around the same time when they were on sale at CDNN for $12.99. They seem identical to the original Pony mags and work perfectly.

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving day.

Hairtrigger

Plan on selling the 1006 if you buy a Delta Elite... I doubt you will shoot the S&W after shooting the Colt
At least that was how I found it to be

My first, one and only 10mm is the Delta Elite.  I don't have much to compare it to except my other Colt 1911s.  Having said that if this pistol would have been my first 1911 I would probably wouldn't have as many others.  It's my daily carry for three of the seasons out of the year here in the UP, .... cold, colder, back to cold and the three month season of crappy skiing/sledding.

....and shoots pretty good too.

About 3 days ago a LGS had one here new for $1029 I think.  Sort of looked at it but did not get it.

That Delta worth it?

Looks like it.

Very nice setup, but the collector money likes them all original and unfired.

Your's is very desirable, but appeals to a different crowd.

Are the new Deltas sturdier than the originals? I noticed that Buffalo Bore says not to use their hottest 10mm in Deltas.
