I know this one has been converted to 10mm a couple of times:

Seems kind of neat. Only capacity of 5 but 1" wide and 25 ozs. Then their is the G29 but it is 1.25" wide, 27 ozs. and a little longer or the XDS in .45ACP 1" wide and 21 ozs. I have also thought about a tiny 9mm maybe a single stack since I would probably go with a IWB holster.

Capacity, power, weight... so many options but these are the ones I am looking at. If the XDS were a 10mm I would have already taken delivery!

Those are not for me. Plus, that guy is asking waaaay too much! I carry a J-frame .38 everywhere around town/around the house. I live in a state that upholds the constitution of the United States of Amerika, and I carry open allot. When I do, it's always a G20sf in a Miami Classic II. I love that gun!

G29 would be pick.  I have considered one of the AMT's.  But they seem to be luck of the draw on quality.

My thoughts exactly. Plus a G29 with G20 reloads = badass!

I just don't like Glock so I am pushing for an XDS 10mm  :o

I knew a guy that did the conversion on his AMT, if I recall he had the load shorter, <1.240" for proper function.  He did sell his off shortly afterwards.

I have the G-29 and it works well for me, better shoulder hoster in public for concealment but works IWB also.

Intercooler you might like the S&W M&P40 Shield...although not 10mm it is no slouch either.

Liking small 10's and not liking Glock is an expensive propsition. Take from someone who is in the middle of a high capacity 10mm cco build.

I have watched some videos of the Shield versus others and like the XDS controls and features better plus it looks to be a little more accurate. I'm trying to keep from having another caliber  :o

Since 1995, I've carried a Sig P229 in .40 S&W, 1911's and on occasion, a Glock 29.

The G29 conceals the least. But, it does conceal. As an overall package, it provided enough for me to buy one for airplane travel and  woods with smaller critters.  I carry it in a Comp-TAC CTAC Kydex holster on a "The Beltman" belt.

But, my 1911's conceal better and are more comfortable due to their thin design.

The Government model in .45 ACP rides in a Milt Sparks VM2 holster (same size as your RZ10).

The 10mm Commander length 1911 in 10mm is carried in a holster of a similar design, a Brigade M-11 IWB leather holster.

Your RZ10 deserves some consideration. With Tripp Cobra 9-rnd mags, it would hold one less than the G29.

Whatever you decide, I would advise having a gun and rig you can train with. Pocket carry or low capacity, unreliable guns won't be allowed by the trainer.

At any rate, glad Maryland is coming around to where you can consider what to carry.

I will have to take a look at the RZ-10.

Today at the range we had Cecil County Shreriffs there so I had to ask them how they felt about MD possibly getting the "shall issue" status. They were all for it which shocked me. Said they really couldn't wait and was hoping it would have been done a few days ago instead of on this stay.

I could be wrong but most of the law enforcement types I've noticed that are vocally against it are usually large city police chiefs that are deep into 'big city' politics. Or I could say 'tied' to big city political machines.

Yeah, my experience is the same.  I had a friend get reprimanded during a traffic stop because he had a CCW but wasn't carrying.  That is my kinda officer!
