Hi,

I can hear the groans already....

Would anyone have a load, (or completely not recommend - I am willing to listen) for 135gr TMJ in Remington brass using Bullseye, with either CCI350 or CCI300 primers. Also, 180gr XTP using the same ingredients. The brass will be in a fully supported chamber with 12" barrel.

Thanks,

Guy

This is a snapshot of Alliant's 2006 PDF, I hope it helps some but the 135's were not shown for 10mm with Bullseye powder.  They do show the 135 with it for 40S&W which may help...

It should make for some very economical range loads.

Just as an FYI, Alliant has removed their loads for Bullseye in 10mm. Most likely because the Velocity is down compared to their other powders.

This is their sheet from the 2014 Reloading Book; Note: Their load for .40SW at 135gr JHP is for BE-86 with a max charge of 8.9gr @1343fps. The First Bullseye Load is 155gr Speer Gold Dot in .40SW at max of 6gr @1023fps.

Thank you, these will give me a good starting point. As I cannot hunt anything larger than Fox with this carbine (not legal in the UK for deer) then varmint and target loads are all I need at the moment.

If you are still looking for a Bullseye load, Lyman #49 gives a 10mm auto 135gr JHP load 6.0 to 7.3 gr. of Bullseye with a oal of 1.225 at 1163 - 1335 fps. Hope this helps.
