Those are some heavy hammers!  :o

Dang straight! I just picked up an older Marlin 1894s .44mag. Wonder what these would do out of a 20" barrel?

LGS has a Rossi imported Puma (Pre Taurus ownership) in .44mag I am looking at.
It's my DiMMe

Aren't the Garrett's better since the bullets are harder?

Intercooler

What's the hardness of those compared to these? I know the performance isn't!

Buffalo Bore had specific warnings as to what their Heavy Hitters in certain firearms...

I believe the Garrett's are 25 BHN and the rest is 21.

I chronod the 330 grain Garrett at 1470 from 7.5inch. Garrett's look like they're sealed too.

I wouldn't want to shoot a box of 50!  They got close to the 1425 FPS rating:

Ruger Redhawk 7.5" 1390, 1406, 1377, 1394, 1397. Average = 1392.8 FPS/ 1465 LBS

Ran a few others including my favorite range ammo: American Eagle 240gr JSP
Ruger Redhawk 7.5" 1407, 1418, 1423, 1411, 1418. Average = 1415.4 FPS/ 1068 LBS

Wolf 240gr JHP
Ruger Redhawk 7.5" 1297 FPS/ 897 LBS

Buffalo Bore 305gr Hardcast
Ruger Redhawk 7.5" 1367 FPS/ 1266 LBS

Good to know that Underwood is offering this.

I load the BB version in my Ruger Redhawk with another twelve rounds in the bullet loops on its shoulder holster. I live where black bears, moose can be encountered.

Intercooler chronographed some of my BB ammo before I bought my own chronograph. Don't recall the numbers he recorded.

Appears as if Underwood is copying Buffalo Bore, even scraping the warning off BB's website, word for word.    ;D

I wish the underwood was more in line with my budget, i love hard hitting heavy 44 rounds.. I have a few stout 365 grainers a buddy gave me that were listed as a ruger only load in the manual he got the data from. They are a blast, literally. Going to try to get a deer with them in my handi rifle if i am able to hunt this year.

Wont fit my firearm sadly but I just got some UW 245 grain fmj to try out in my Deagle. So far I had just shot Winchester, PMC and some old Nuclear reloads my dad had. I'm sure the UW will be great.
