Very Nice looking mold, If you wanted just a little more weight you could have the bevel base cut to make it a squared base.

Just a thought Shadow - would a 180gr devastator hp mold with the lube groves cut out come up to about 200 grs ( kinda like thous bullets you sent me only in 180gr - if there is such an animal?)

and no I don't know where to find one :( do you? the 180 mold hp that is - I'ed be tempted to buy one and give it to someone to doctor up if they would make the bullets for a far price to sell to me hint hint Shadow ;D

The Lyman 40 cal/10mm Devastator was their 175 grain TC, with the HP pin giving it the big open HP, making it 156 grains in weight.  Now "Obsolete", Why Lyman decided to quit selling that one is a mystery.  They still sell a 9mm, 44 and 45 Devastator mold, no more 40/10mm.

So cutting the lube groove out of that Devastator Mold would be like taking a chisel to Michelangelo's "DAVID"  :o

I'd have considered having a custom mold made at about 205 grains or 210 grains WFN, no lube grove (this will keep it shorter and be specifically a poly powdered paint coating), adding 0.333" long tapered 0.250" to 0.125" HP pins (this would be about 185 gr. or 190 gr).  This will be one of those back burner projects... ::)

Quick 2

I went with the Lee 145gr SWC for my 10mm and the 115gr RN for the 9mm . Little over 4 weeks from major back surgery and I hope I can get some casting done. Plan on using dry spray Moly with Lee ALOX thinned and put over the Moly. I have about 150 lbs of #2 alloy and just about stole it I only have $50 in the 150lbs. I should be able to push these at decent velocities with this lube combo. I used to push hard cast 240gr 44 mags at around 1300 fps using 24grs of H110. I guess we will find out when I get a decent amount of bullets cast and ran through the chrono and check for leading.
