Looking at getting another 10mm to join my Glock. I have thought about one or the other then I ran across a Tanfoglio Witness Match new for around $650 out the door and a Witness Stock 2 for $1000 out the door. It sure looks interesting.

Have the Razorback and Kimber in Eclipse.

Both sweet but both had to be sent back and returned mint.

The edge goes to the DW as you can send it back to them and have it fitted for a .40 conversion.

Have the Delta also and it was perfect after 200 rounds. All 3 are sweet.

Just think though for the cost of the DW you could have the eaa and a ria 1911

You got that right.  I had a 10mm Razorback...kick myself every time I think about it.  I have a Kimber TLE II in 10mm now and I think the DW Razorback was a much nicer piece.

IMHO the EAA top tier pistols ( match / limited) are exceptional guns, at a bargain price.  I own a few 10mm in various platforms. My eaa limited, feels better and out performs my kimber, colts, glock's, & smiths.

I agree. Even their base model Witness line has improved. Both of my 2013 Witness with K10 mags run better than my Delta Elite and S&W 1006. The older models had some bugs, but they've come a long way.

With the exception of the Glock I have owned, shot, etc... the DW Razorback (sold it and no regrets), 1006 and multiple Witness pistols. I kept the 1006 because of what it is and it shoots decent enough. It's still more fun and a better feel shooting any of the Witness pieces... so I agree!

The Match is extremely hard to beat in the 4.75" single action platform for the price ($599). If you go SII you get the 4.5" cone-loc barrel and single/double action ($900). I find my Limited Pro an excellent shooter with some upgrades over the Match in the 4.75" barrel single/double action ($800). Then you have the Hunter 6" long slide that is easier recoiling and tankish ($925). Top tier is Limited though!  8)

Must say, I just looked at the Witness line and they do look nice, I do like that DAO first shot. Trying to pry a 1076 from a guy at the range, if he does not budge I may grab a Witness.

If it was a straight kimber vs. Dw I'd pick dw. Personally I can't stand the mim and plastic on the kimbers.

I have a 1076 FBI. It's built like a tank. I've never had a failure. Heavy as hell though. I bought it just because I like 10mm pistols.
My rundown on my 10mm (favorites in order)

S&w 610 revolver-  the most accurate 10mm I own. Period !!!
EAA 10mm Limited. The best 10mm auto I own.
G20 olive drab, lone wolf ported barrel. Function over fashion
Para P16-40, 10mm convert.  Love the hi capacity in 1911 form
Iai javalina 5" barrel. Loose as hell, but fires every shot
Kimber tactical.  Really liked the look of this gun.
Delta elite. Anyone who collects 10mm has one of these. Nothing spectacular..

I have a few other whores.  I just wanted to share my opinion and preference

I have a Razorback. I also have an RIA Tac II and a Fusion Firearms long slide hunter in 10mm. I'm trying to decide which 10 I like better, the Wesson or the Fusion. The RIA is OK, but not as accurate as the other two. I use the RIA to keep in practice with the 10mm platform, as it was a much cheaper gun, I figure I'll save wear and tear on my expensive ones. But use the other two when I'm shooting for accuracy.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
