A couple more dumb questions: Does the LW slide require the use of the Glock firing pin channel liner? 'Press fit' doesn't work well with plastic. :D

Which end does the fiber washer go on the SS rod? Under the screw or at the other end of the spring?

The LW slide uses all of the Glock slide parts, including the channel liner.

The plastic washer goes under the screw on the guide rod.

Well, Lone Wolf bumped the back order date out another week today. Expected 8/30....... Never had dealings on back orders with them before.......should I expect it before Thanksgiving? :P

Damn, now the expected delivery date is 5 October......might be Christmas ......... >:(

I'm usually a patient guy.  What will get to me is a backorder on a backorder.  I'll patiently wait on a backorder, but when any company later backorders the backorder, my patients start swirling down the drain pretty quickly.

Hope you get it by Halloween, if not before! 8)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I quite agree.....and after three changes in the BO date since the order I only waited for the opportunity. MrRedbull allowed me that opportunity....I should have a threaded 6.61 inch LW barrel by the end of the week. Thanks again MrRedbull........

Just an update....

The cap head screw took care of the screw catching on the slide around the through hole. First tried some Atlanta Arms 180s at an indoor range with FTE etc. With some handloads  (chrono'd 1200 fps in stock 4.6 in barrel) the pistol functioned flawlessly. It's a LW G21 longslide with 10mm LW 6.61 in threaded barrel with their comp, guide rod and 24# spring.
