Henning Magwell on the Hunter

I received my Magwell today and put it on. Henning was nice in lending me a set of wooden panels until I can get metal.

I got it put on, but it doesn't work! At least not yet!

- On the back portion you will see two notches of aluminum hanging into the magwell opening. These are preventing the mags from sliding in.
- The wood panels move around like nobody's business! I need good fitting metal panels ASAP. I may try my Limited panels to see if they fit better.

I never was a fan of those huge Mag Well funnels...The angle of that one looks to be canted forward as though they placed it the part backwards to make the funnel.   I suppose if you're a competition shooter they are of some benefit!
To me it makes what use to be a clean and sexy looking fit and finish, look like a tacky addition and not part of the piece.

When the coating wears more, I think I will switch it over to Cerakote or have it Hard-Chromed.
