I'd buy it. I couldn't find just the gun here for under 1100

Yes, I think it's a very good deal. On Gunbroker they're always at almost new prices and on a local to GA trader site they're the same. Same for the Target II, or whatever it's called, and it's retail price is lower. I've handled the 45 cal version.....very nice. Plus the Kimber has a ramped, fully supported barrel. All the better if close enough to see the pistol before buying.

Like 10mmfan said, I've never seen one less than 1000-1100. Doubt you'll ever find one for less money.

Buy it if it truly is as the ad describes it. I looked at the Scheels down in Appleton for one early this year(February maybe). They were competitive, I would say. To special order that firearm was $1199(so is always about $100 more than stock on hand). My wait would've been up to 4 mos. So what you get for say 1100 is that gun, standard with night sights, 1 magazine and the plastic case and gunlock. I'm Wondering why it is priced so reasonably, high quality ss magazines run on average $30(cabelas here in GB). I bought my ammo initially for about $32 for 50 round boxes of UMC(cabelas sale price here in GB). In my opinion $850 just for the gun(If as described w/ low round count) is a fair price. With all the extra stuff, it is a good buy. I have the stainless target II, Only concern when I got it was the factory recoil spring was 18.5 lbs. ok for the lower of the midrange loads like the UMC, but imo not enough for full power loads like Underwood. I Put a 24lb in mine. If the gun advertised has original spring and seller shot a few hundred nuclear loads through it may have some frame battering, or even a cracked frame. Unlikely, but buyers always beware.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you. Kind regards,,,Todd
