Anthony said again today how nice those bullets and results were. He's trying to get a production lot of them to keep the pipeline filled.

Disappointed to hear that about the Freedom Munitions 10mm.  I was hoping I'd found the perfect target/practice ammo at 1200fps and cheap enough at $22.25 per 50. As long as it all goes bang, I'll be satisfied tho, at that price.  Wonder if their XTP rounds are just as anemic?

Freedom 180gr FMJ
EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1070, 1082, 1063, 1071, 1057. Average = 1062 FPS/ 451 LBS. Pretty far off the 1200 FPS advertised and not real 10mm

My 500 rounds of Freedom Munitions 180 grain 10mm arrived.  I only got to shoot one mag, but here is what I did.  I put 5 rounds of Freedom Munitions and 5 rounds of Georgia Arms 180 grain FMJ's alternating them in the mag.

Freedom Munitions is published at 1200 fps and Georgia Arms at 1100 fps.  Your test confirms what I felt.  (I do not own a chronograph) It was very obvious that the Freedom Munitions was considerably weaker than the Georgia Arms and is without a doubt, the weakest ammo I have put thru my short 10mm career.  It's more like mid range .40 S&W from this ballistics chart.  http://www.ballistics101.com/40_caliber_sw.php

I have found the same to be true with their .357 Magnum ammo.  It's more like weak Cowboy loads.  I've never had a problem with Freedom Munitions, and have shot thousands of rounds of it.  It's available, priced reasonable and always goes bang.  It's good range ammo, but if you want to practice with 10mm that is more like 10mm, Freedom Munitions may not be what you want.

The 1200 fps written on the box in ink is my handwriting, and is what Freedom Munitions claims on their website.

Anthony sent mine out yesterday. I will have them and all the other untested rounds shortly.

For 1200 FPS one of the PBR offerings might be the best bang for the buck. Their Premium 180's tested higher than expected.

Yep without a chronograph you are working blindly and one of the reasons for many of us posting here is to let people know what is what as sold.

Intercooler's spreadsheets have plenty document loadings...The pull-down section shows what makes them go like they do.  ;)

I'm just going by felt recoil for my impressions.  Every once in a while, I think about getting a Chrono just to have fun with the different factory loadings, and if powder ever becomes available and I can actually start purchasing reloading equipment, a chrono would be very handy to have.

I did some searching for Intercooler's spreadsheets, but could not find them.  Probably under my nose, but do you have a link to them?

Real 10mm doesn't really take a Chrony. When it's real, you won't mistake it!  ;D

Real 10mm tears apart the skyscreens, and changes the weather pattern in the area for six months.  :P

There is a distinct difference between Freedom Munitions 180 grain and Underwood 180 grain, but having a Chrony would be fun, even if I don't reload, and 10mm wouldn't be the only thing I played with.

That's great!! Any idea when they will offer them on their website?

The Freedom Munitions gets a lot of ink over on the GlockID website. The only problem is, you have to be a member to be able to look at the forum.

The membership is free though.  8)

They have 24 boxes of the Premium 180's in stock currently.

Here is where they tested out form me at 1283 FPS:
http://10mm-firearms.com/factory-10mm-ammo/pbr-premium-180gr-fmj-and-hsm-180gr-fmj/

They had the 10mm recoil and the results of the HSM ran at the same time show it was correct. My only question is the box rating is 1177 FPS on those. Kind of odd!

The pull-down for this round showed 13.6gr's of #9: http://10mm-firearms.com/factory-10mm-ammo-pull-downs/parabellum-research-pbr-180gr-fmj-premium-line-pull-down/  Their V-Supreme which gave 1317 FPS average had 14.6gr's of #9 which also makes sense for the results (can you confirm Shadow?). This is a hell of a round for the money and I need to get another box for a re-test.
