I've never seen cases bulge so much without rupturing. It's crazy, those 9mm cases must be pretty strong.

Soft or Malleable I think is the more accurate terms.

There was a guy at Walmart this morning talking someone out of buy the ZQ1 9mm. His claim was the poor consistency of the crimp was causing the cases to headspace shallowly, and in some guns this was causing excessive case bulge as too much of the case was outside of the support of the barrel. More than normal for unsupported chambers. He claimed to be a local gunsmith but did not have any cards on him    His comment did have merit, but made me wonder about lock up if that much of the case was hanging out.
