Citizen takes 165 yd shots to assist officer

Officer was at a disadvantage and a gentleman decided to help. He used a revolver (other sites say a .357 Mag) to hit the guy shooting at the officer.

Just goes to show that even though most encounters are at less than 3 yards, there is still a reason to practice at longer distances.

Just saw on the news (with video).... 65 y/o woman chasing 5 (armed) robbers from her jewelry store, firing her handgun at them. This just gets better every week!

I have read that 24/25 violent uses of guns are defensive. Not a stat the anti gun crowd brings up very often. I have been unable to document that stat however.

Are you trying to paste something? If yes then there are some issues with characters or breaks in the pasted material that could stop things from being pasted...

Yes. No problem. The website code is protecting itself from "SQL injection" attacks.

If characters are entered that have meaning in SQL commands, rather than passing them on, some codes will truncate the post.

Better to have it than a cracked website.

I think your complete quote was:

It is the "curly" apostrophe rather than a "tick" in the work I'll that is used in the article. If I copy and paste their text, the work I'll has an apostrophe that slants bottom to top, rather than up and down. To produce that character on my Mac, I have to type shift-option(alt)-]. It is NOT the character to the left of the carriage return ('), nor the one above the tab key(`).

Best bet when something gets cut off is to replace all the actual quotation marks yourself. The degrees symbol also causes fits here.
