New to 10mm ... soon anyway

Hi!  I just wanted to introduce myself and say I look forward to using this resource as I add a 10mm to my stable.  The gun is expected in 8 to 10 months and will be my long-range target gun.  I have been a member at 1911forum for a few years and an a long-time shooter.  I have a lot of reloading questions as I prepare and will post them in the appropriate forum.

Welcome to the forum and the world of the 10mm!  There are many handloaders here, who can help you with your reloading questions.  Good luck with the procurement of your 10mm...

AHHH ... well GI should make you a fantastic blaster.  Anxious to see what you come up with, ESPECIALLY in longslide form.  I did drool a little when I read that out loud but it cleaned right up as there were some napkins right beside my laptop.

Ambi safety.  Wilson Combat adjustable rear sight.

Nickel-Boron finish.

Black GI alumagrips.

Well, I do have a longslide 10mm, but it's a Fusion Firearms.

What the heck finish is on that Fusion? Mine is the black oxide, it is matte, not glossy.

I opted for the ION-BOND, but I wanted the slide slightly polished while leaving the frame matte.  I wanted a slight two-toned look.  I love it!

Its no where near as nice as a Fusion or a Guncrafter, but I love it all the same:

this is an "old" pic, Ive since refinished the grips ( they look much better now, they were way to heavily clear coated) and put in a Harrison ignition set.
