I picked up some Alliant Power Pistol powder recently and have used it in the 10mm and like it alot! I don't think it's as accurate in the SW1006 or G20 for me as the Longshot i've been using but its definitely fun and since my meter is already full of it I want to try it in 9mm. However, the only bullets I have are some 100g TMJ .355 and the 125g round noses from my lee mold. The data in the manual alliant sent me for this year shows 6.4g max with a 124g gold dot and 6.7g max with a 115g gold dot. I don't have many manuals and reading through a good many forums it seems that 100g bullets are much more popular/common with the .380acp reloaders.

That said, what do you all think gould be a good starting point for the load with power pistol and the 100g bullets? Perhaps 6.2g or so  to be safe? I've used these bullets with longshot and unique powders with fair results seated at 1.050 OAL shot from my SW5906

If you want some good data to download I would suggest you go to this site get all you can before it disappears?  You can not have too much data to study.  I keep copies of all of the data, and study it often.

There is data for and from many powder makers...http://www.castpics.net/LoadData/Freebies/default.html

Annually I look for the powder makers newest brochures (get them mailed for hard copy) and or PDF's to download.  ;)
