I have a G20 gen 3 SF, have never tried anything other than the stock 4.6" barrel. I am wondering how much difference does the 6" make? Pros and Cons of switching to a 6"??

Slightly more velocity.

Maybe more accuracy.

Less recoil.

A longer gun which takes a fraction of a second longer to remove from the holster.

I have a 6.6" in my G20sf and a 4.6" - 2 port - in my G29sf - both LW's and I can feel a definite
difference in recoil with the same loads - the hotter loads - 180gr - 1250fps - the 29 snaps with recoil while the 20 pushes with recoil - the 29 I had to go with the 15rd 20 mag with adapter to handle the recoil - the added length on the grip made all the difference - made the 29 a 20 with just a little shorter slide, but with a 20 barrel length, works great for me - best of both worlds in the 29.( my EDC )

Any accuracy gain will be either due to a better barrel construction or luck.  A longer barrel of similar quality may be more or less accurate than it's shorter cousin's depending on the individual barrel.

Better accuracy with a longer barrel if the slide is also longer creating a longer sight radius.  I found that I made marginally more accurate groupings with my G20SF w/6.6" barrel and long slide than the stock set-up.

Agreed that a longer sight radius would improve accuracy.  But, that requires a longer slide, not just a longer barrel as is the core question.

I have lonewolf 10mm & 9x25 for my G20 and a 9x25 for my G29. The 10mm LW barrel was giving me a few FTF rounds. I polished the feed ramp and it runs fine now.
No other issues.

I have a Glock 20 Gen 4 and a 6 inch 9x25 Lone Wolf Barrel and have had zero issues.

TnGroundhog, Welcome to the forum!  I see you are also shooting the 9x25Dillon.  Do you also handload your own ammo?
If you do and care to share some load data and range reports please do so in the various sections of the forum.

Best regards and congrats with you G-20 Gen 4.  :D
