Got breakfast and with my brother and sister and law today. Headed over to the local pistol range afterwards. Brought my handy PPQ 9mm, Glock 29, USP 40 Expert with me and 300 rds of fun. After some good training and instruction I started them on the 9mm then worked them into the 40. Think neither one of them had been to range more than 3 times ever and they were both doing quite well for novice shooters. I started the 10mm with cheap armscor ammo. I noticed it wasn't feeling too much hotter than the 40 so I got them to try it as well. They noticed it was a bit hotter but were fine with it. So, we continued to shoot all three. I finished off the week armscor and broke out a box off underwood 200 gr tmj's. Turned a lot of heads with these. Instantly got my brother in law interested. He shot the next mag and fell in love. Didn't shoot the other guns until the 10mm was out. I started my sister in law with just 1 round to make sure she didn't have any double fires. She handled it just fine and loaded more her next couple of times.

After the range fun my brother in law expressed interest in gun ownership so we went to the store part of the building. He told me his price range so I steered him towards the S&W SD 40VE. For a hundred more and much nicer trigger the Ruger SR40. He hasn't pulled the trigger on buying one yet but I think these would be great first buy guns. I figure he liked my Glock 29 so much that he might consider that his 2nd purchase later. I know how much ammo costs plus the 29 they had for sale was 600. Anyway we all had a great time and I know I made at least one new shooter and a huge 10mm fan as well 8)

A funny thing happened to me the last time I took 10's to the range. Think I recovered every single piece of brass they spit out. (I reload them) That hardly EVER happens.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
