I know Colt made the Double Eagle for about 6 or 7 years but have never seen any production numbers
Does any one know the number made?

Was made from 1989 to 1997. Came in .40 cal, 10mm, .45, 9mm, and .38 Super.  Colt eventually redesigned the trigger mechanism and added a retaining plate due to some shooters having problems with skin being pinched by the top part of the trigger, as well as some springs only being retained by the grip panel. The result was the Double Eagle Mark II. Exact numbers I can't find.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

I have an Officers model in .45.  These are not great semi autos, and spare parts would be way worse than with the S&W guns.
The best info I have is the 10mm versions were all 5 inch and made in the 90-95 time frame.  There were three different models,
but I don't have any numbers either.  With these guys the tops are like a regular Colt model but the bottoms are way different.
They all have full length grips and take regular magazines.  My .45 Officers below.
