Hornady lock n load single stage?

Midwayusa had a whole kit with this for getting started http://www.midwayusa.com/product/749997/hornady-lock-n-load-classic-single-stage-press-kit?cm_vc=ProductFinding  what do you think about using it for 10mm?  I will mainly be doing higher pressure loading for the 10mm and also some 9mm to save money as I typically shoot 9 in volume but never more than 200  a month it serms lately.  Not getting out like I used to when I could get a box of 50 9mm for $9.

Ill need a case tumbler and scale and puller is that it?

Nice press, but it will take you forever to load any volume of ammunition with it. I use mine to de-prime before cleaning brass in stainless media and for precision rifle ammo. If your just getting started in reloading and want to start without shelling out a lot of money, the most bang for your buck would be the Lee turret press. faster than single stage but still on the low cost side.

Take a look at the Classic Turret press from Lee... allows you to use as a single stage but also will rotate automatic.  From what you mentioned, plenty of spped for the rounds you shoot.

Without a doubt , get the Hornady.
Buy a few extra bushings if you have more calibers

Well The RCBS Rock Chucker Kit has a lot to offer, while it seems a little pricey, unless you buy it on sale and get the $50 rebate to make it even more reasonably priced.  It is a very strong press of cast iron and steel, will last you a few lifetimes, has lifetime warranty.  If you intend to load large rifle rounds you will appreciate the compound leverage it brings to the resizing of the brass.  (most rifle sizing dies are steel (no carbide) and require case lube to protect the dies and keep cases from getting stuck)  Everyone who handloads should have a single stage press, it affords many various operations that progressive presses can't do in some instances, like bullet forming of jacket bullets, using swage dies. (Again the compound leverage is needed to apply the forces needed to perform these steps.)

I love my Hornady L&L single stage. Hornady is also running their get loaded promotion where you can get free bullets with the purchase of their equipment and dies.

Saw some revuews online that said they hated the hornady dies and you have to change them out and reset all your COAL measurements everytime you change calibers.

I never had an issue and I would take online reviews with a grain of salt. End users never post their mistakes or what they've done wrong.

That comment doesn't even make sense. Your COAL is controlled by the seating die, and that changes with every caliber. The settings stay with the die.

PS everyone recommends the press they own.
We all do our research, then we spend our money. IMO you need to decide single stage versus progressive. Usually this is based on your budget in combination with how many rounds do you consume on a monthly basis.
Honady, dillon, or RCBS there are many good choices
