Just unpacked the moving truck

The girlfriend and I are officially living in Florida.

I moved here for a few reasons: Housing prices, cost of living, and gun laws. I can use my VA Loan here in Florida on a home that will cost 1/3 of what it would have cost in Washington.

We are in Lakeland for now, but she has family in Fort Myers and Tampa so we could settle any of those three places. Wherever I can get a job will determine where we go.

Although you all didn't get the chance to swing by Louisiana during your travels ${$default_sad_smiley}$ , I glad you were able to make the trip safely! Best of luck securing employment to your liking. ${$default_cool_smiley}$
The good thing is the newer homes down there should be up to new standards for Hurricane protection.

Well I just received a call back from one of the undercover loss prevention companies I applied to. Got an interview next week. They were my number one choice. Everything will be great if I land this position.

Welcome to the great state of Florida. I live in Clearwater which is on the west side of the Tampa Bay area. If you end up in Tampa or Fort Myers you will not be disappointed. Great weather good people lots to do all 12 months of the year again welcome
